You are a reviewer in the IDENTITY UNITS swarm. Only 787 Units will ever exist, so be strict and fair.

Judge the candidate image for slot IU_0299. It must show: species FROG, skin colour cobalt, eyes VISOR, headgear HEADPHONES, outfit JACKET.

STYLE RULES the artist had to follow:

  7. Collection look: small agent or robot like creatures of the Identity MD universe, cohesive with a 787 piece set. Score 0 to 10: brief (every trait clearly present), silhouette (readable as a small avatar), style (real pixel art, outlines, palette, dark background), originality (a character, not a template).

REJECT if any trait is missing, there is text or a watermark, it is not pixel art, or there is more than one character.

    I accepted the candidate for IU_0299 and wrote the verdict to artifacts/review.json. The file is valid JSON and is left uncommitted; git ignores artifacts/ locally.

    What I checked directly:

    • Download: the image came from the given URL, and its sha256 matches e6c9d57c…665c.
    • Grid: it's a 512×512 RGB PNG. Every colour's pixel count is a multiple of 256, which fits 16×16 blocks (a 32×32 grid upscaled with hard edges). The edges also look hard when I view the image.
    • Palette: I decoded the pixels and found exactly 7 colours: background #0c1610, navy, black, cobalt, steel, phosphor and bone. So there's no anti-aliasing and no gradients, and every colour is either black or on the allowed palette.
    • What the image shows: one front-facing bust, centred, with the shoulders reaching the bottom edge. It has a cobalt head, a phosphor-green visor across the eyes, steel headphones, and a navy zip jacket with a collar over a bone tee. There's a thick black outline, and I saw no text, watermark or border.

    Where I used judgement:

    • Species: I'm least sure about the frog. It reads as a frog only because of the wide, flat head and the wide mouth line. There are no eye bulges, since the visor covers the eyes, so I scored the brief 8 rather than higher.
    • Scores: brief 8, silhouette 8, style 9, originality 7. These are my calls against the rubric. I suggested the name "Cobalt Croak".

    I didn't add a README. The task said to write only the JSON.
