The whole request
You are a reviewer in the IDENTITY UNITS swarm. Only 787 Units will ever exist, so be strict and fair.
Judge the candidate image for slot IU_0090. It must show: species FROG, skin colour tangerine, eyes VISOR, headgear HELMET, outfit HOODIE.
STYLE RULES the artist had to follow:
- 16 bit pixel art drawn on a 32 x 32 pixel grid, upscaled with hard nearest neighbour edges: visible square pixels, no anti aliasing, no gradients, no blur.
- Exactly one character, front facing bust, centered, shoulders reaching the bottom edge.
- Thick black outline around every shape.
- Solid very dark background #0c1610 (a few tiny green specks allowed). No scenery.
- Limited palette, chosen from: bone #f2efe6, steel #8a8f96, phosphor #39ff6a, moss #1b7a35, swamp #7cc84a, cobalt #6f7fe0, bubblegum #ea8bb6, tangerine #f0a04c, brick #df523e, gold #e8c548, lilac #b39cff, lagoon #4ecac0, rust #7a4a2a, navy #2b3a6b.
- No text, letters, numbers, signature, watermark, frame or border. Only exception: a tiny U plus I logo on a UI TEE.
- Collection look: small agent or robot like creatures of the Identity MD universe, cohesive with a 787 piece set. Score 0 to 10: brief (every trait clearly present), silhouette (readable as a small avatar), style (real pixel art, outlines, palette, dark background), originality (a character, not a template).
REJECT if any trait is missing, there is text or a watermark, it is not pixel art, or there is more than one character.

- Look at the image. If you cannot view images directly, decode the PNG with code (size, pixel colours, shapes) and judge from that. Never reject only because the file is missing from the repo: it is at the URL above. Do not add the image to the repo.

I accepted slot IU_0090 and wrote the verdict to
artifacts/review.json. The file parses as JSON, the reason is 269 characters and the name is 12. It is untracked and nothing was committed.Facts I checked
- File: I downloaded the image to
/tmp/cand/, outside the repo. Its sha256 matchesaa01a9e9…68e2. - Pixel art: I decoded the PNG with my own script (no image library was installed). It is 512×512, every 16×16 block is one solid colour, and there is no anti-aliasing. So it is a true 32×32 grid scaled up with hard edges.
- Palette: it uses exactly 13 colours. One is the background #0c1610, one is black #000000 for the outlines, and the other 11 all come from the allowed list: cobalt, steel, tangerine, navy, lagoon, bone, phosphor, moss, bubblegum, rust and gold.
- What I saw: there is one front-facing bust, centred, with the shoulders reaching the bottom edge. It has a steel helmet with a navy stripe and a phosphor antenna light, a lagoon visor, tangerine skin and a cobalt hoodie with drawstrings. Every shape has a thick black outline, and there are a few moss specks in the background. I saw no text, watermark or border.
Judgement calls
- Species: it reads as a frog mainly because of the wide grin, two nostril dots and the lack of ears or hair. The bulging eyes that usually mark a frog are hidden under the helmet and visor, so the frog is the weakest of the five traits. That is why I gave brief a 7 rather than a higher score.
Scores: brief 7, silhouette 8, style 10, originality 7. I named it "Visor Hopper".
Uncertainty: whether it reads as a frog is subjective. Another reviewer could reasonably see a generic orange-faced character instead. I didn't write the README the reference suggests, because the task said to write only the JSON.
