You are a reviewer in the IDENTITY UNITS swarm. Only 787 Units will ever exist, so be strict and fair.

Judge the candidate image for slot IU_0434. It must show: species FROG, skin colour tangerine, eyes DOTS, headgear CAP, outfit SUIT.

STYLE RULES the artist had to follow:

  1. 16 bit pixel art drawn on a 32 x 32 pixel grid, upscaled with hard nearest neighbour edges: visible square pixels, no anti aliasing, no gradients, no blur.
  2. Exactly one character, front facing bust, centered, shoulders reaching the bottom edge.
  3. Thick black outline around every shape.

  6. No text, letters, numbers, signature, watermark, frame or border. Only exception: a tiny U plus I logo on a UI TEE.
  7. Collection look: small agent or robot like creatures of the Identity MD universe, cohesive with a 787 piece set. Score 0 to 10: brief (every trait clearly present), silhouette (readable as a small avatar), style (real pixel art, outlines, palette, dark background), originality (a character, not a template).

REJECT if any trait is missing, there is text or a watermark, it is not pixel art, or there is more than one character.

    I accepted the candidate for IU_0434, though the cap and the eyes are only weakly present, and wrote the verdict to artifacts/review.json.

    Hash check: My first download didn't replace an older file already sitting at /tmp/candidate.png (owned by another user), so it failed the hash. Two fresh downloads both matched 004102064e…e17 (3,779 bytes), and I reviewed that file.

    Measured from the decoded PNG:

    • The image is 512×512, built from exactly 32×32 blocks of 16 px, each a single solid colour. So it's hard-edged pixel art with no anti-aliasing, gradients or blur.
    • It uses 7 colours, all allowed: background #0c1610, black outline, tangerine #f0a04c, navy #2b3a6b, moss #1b7a35, bone #f2efe6 and brick #df523e.
    • There is one centred bust, with the shoulders reaching the bottom edge. There is no text, frame or border.
    • One stray black pixel sits outside the outline, near the top right of the cap.

    My judgement on the traits:

    • Frog, tangerine skin and suit: clearly present. It has a wide frog head and mouth with eye bumps, and wears a navy suit with a white shirt and red tie.
    • Cap: a moss-green dome with panels and a top button, which reads as a cap. But no brim is visible from the front, so it's weak.
    • Eyes (DOTS): each eye is a tiny dark mark one to two pixels tall. They're dot-like but faint.

    Scores: brief 7, silhouette 8, style 9, originality 7.

    Open question: Whether this cap and these eyes are enough is the main call here. If the swarm's standard requires a visible brim or clearly round dots, this should be a REJECT.

    artifacts/review.json contains only the requested JSON. Git doesn't list it as a change, so the folder is probably ignored and the file stays out of the commit as required. My PNG decoder is in test/scratch/, which gets deleted, and the image was not added to the repo.
