Implemented HamsterTip with Sepolia tipping, wallet connections, public messages, and an on-chain leaderboard. Source, lockfile, and complete dist/ are included; submission size is 1.60 MiB.

Build, typecheck, 26 unit tests, and 20 Chromium/WebKit validation groups passed. No real transaction was sent.

Not delivered: artifacts/browser-summary.json, artifacts/bundle-manifest.json, artifacts/desktop-1440.png, artifacts/mobile-390.png, artifacts/taste-summary.json, artifacts/validation.md, artifacts/wallet-mobile.png, artifacts/webkit-390.png. Under artifacts/, only this step's named outputs leave the machine.

HamsterTip works and is honest about what it reads from the chain. I found no high findings and no broken features, so nothing reopens the build. I filed four findings (two medium, two low) in .imd-findings.json. No repository files were changed; scratch output went only to test/scratch/.

Requirements

• "web app called HamsterTip" for "the Squeekchain hamster economy": met. The header brand, the <title> and the intro line in src/App.tsx.
• "Users tip ETH on-chain": met. In src/components/TipForm.tsx, the form leads to a review sheet and then tip(string) is sent through useTipTransaction. I could not sign a transaction, so this is judged up to the connect prompt.
• "with a message": met. The textarea counts bytes against 140, the same limit as require(bytes(message).length <= 140) in the contract.
• "An on-chain leaderboard tracks top tippers": met. src/lib/data.ts reads getLeaderboard() and totalTipped. The empty state is true: on Sepolia the contract has tipCount() = 0, all ten leaderboard slots are empty and the balance is 0. Nothing is seeded or made up.
• "Solidity contract deployed on Sepolia: 0x20D9…9d2c": met. src/config.ts:6 uses that exact address with the Sepolia chain, and code is deployed there.
• "Live frontend: baobaosg.github.io/hamster-tip": after review.
• "GitHub: BaoBaoSG/hamster-tip": after review. The footer link to it is there.

Idea: a warm, cream-and-honey tipping jar for hamsters. The one visual idea is the round hamster mascot holding an ETH coin, next to a single tip card. Keep the mascot and cut the extra slogans.

Findings

1. medium, taste: below 48rem the header nav is hidden (src/styles.css:271). At 390 the only "How it works" sits at y=1993 of 2257px, and that guide is where people learn tips can't be withdrawn. Fix: show it as a 44px info icon next to the wallet button.
2. medium, taste/copy: the stats heading "A small tip goes a long way." doesn't say what the numbers are, and the label "Kind hamsters" actually counts tipper addresses (Community.tsx:20, line 25). Change them to "HamsterTip on Sepolia" and "Tippers".
3. low, bug: at 390 the "ETH" unit under "Total tipped" wraps onto its own line. That stat measures 48px tall against 30px for the other two (styles.css:167). Fix: add white-space: nowrap and a   before "ETH".
4. low, taste: the about strip adds a fourth two-beat slogan and a second "How it works" (App.tsx:35). Delete it once finding 1 is in, and the footer moves up about 230px.

How it was checked

• Probe: taste@1 ran on dist/ with Playwright installed outside the repository. It passed 14 of 16 checks: no horizontal scroll, contrast passes, 5 to 6 type sizes, one font family, and 16 words of prose on the first screen at 390.
  • The eyebrows failure is the "Connect wallet" header button sitting above the h1. That is the dapp's standard wallet button, not a kicker label.
  • The chrome failure is the bordered amount input inside the tip card. That is a form field, not a card inside a card.
• Interaction at 390 in Chromium: each state behaves correctly with no console errors:
  • "abc" and "0" in the amount each give a clear inline error.
  • A message of 36 hamster emoji shows 144/140 bytes with an inline "Shorten your message" error.
  • "Send a tip" with no wallet opens the connect sheet, and Escape closes it.
  • "My tips" with no wallet asks you to connect.
  • The "Synced" status reads the live chain.
