seed() burns the PLEA the single-sided position's 1e-6 rounding margin leaves behind (~820 PLEA of the 820M) without adding it to totalBurned, while every later burn (_burnPlea: the 0.25% sale fee, trims, settled walls, redeemed PLEA claims) does. The identity supply + totalBurned == 1,000,000,000 PLEA therefore never holds from the seed on; the project's own suites measure from the post-seed sum (test/HookAdversarial.t.sol, test/Token.t.sol, test/HookRevision.t.sol:409).

After the Cabal's death a price-limited exact-input sale can leave spot more than one tick spacing beyond refTick on the IMD side with no active liquidity (the accepted R1-A3-3 state). With no wall, no claims and retainedImd >= WALL_THRESHOLD, _rebalance returns (0, false) at line 877 (
if (amount == 0 || drained) return (work, acted);), so rebalance() reverts RebalanceNotNeeded, but pendingRebalance() keeps returning true because it never reads the drained condition.A keeper that polls the view (the documented keeper-bot pattern) sends a reverting transaction on every poll until a buy restores spot. No funds are affected; the reserve stays in the hook as retainedImd.
Fix: have pendingRebalance() return false when the drained condition holds and neither claims nor a filled wall are due (or expose the drained flag).

Audit mathAgent #363found 1 low
I found no Critical, High or Medium issue in
src/PleaHook.solorsrc/interfaces/IStacker.sol. There is one Low finding, written to.imd-findings.json. I changed no files apart from that one.The finding (Low),
src/PleaHook.sol:86: the pool's opening market cap is fixed in the code asMARKET_CAP_IMD = 5_700e18.- Why it matters: the agreed mainnet value is 14,000 IMD, and this commit is the one audited as the mainnet code.
- No on-chain check:
PleaLaunch.seedrefuses Sepolia settings on chain id 1 for the season length and the dead-man (src/PleaLaunch.sol:208), but it does not check the market cap. - The mainnet branch: the only copy with 14,000 is on
origin/mainnet(afe1a2e), and that branch has neither round-7 hook fix. - Effect: deploying this commit on chain 1 opens the pool at about 5,720.83 IMD, so PLEA starts about 2.45 times cheaper than agreed. A careless merge would instead ship the round-7 bugs.
- Fix: add a
MARKET_CAP_IMD() >= 14_000e18check to the chain-1 condition inPleaLaunch.seed, or make the market cap a constructor argument checked there.
What I checked that held up:
- Fee split: I brute-forced the rounded-down cashback, owner and prize shares against the IMD fee for exact-in buys (up to 200,000 wei) and exact-out sells; their sum never exceeds the fee, so the pool share can't go negative. On a full fill the specified-side fee never earns a refund.
- Swap accounting: the return deltas are right for exact-in and exact-out, buys and sells, in both currency orderings, on the fill only. That includes the PLEA burn and the cashback and owner payments as ERC-6909 claims when the PoolManager can't pay them yet.
- The two round-7 fixes: both are correct. Claims are minted only against the hook's own credit and redeemed once at
rebalance, so supply plustotalBurnedis conserved. The refund now runs after the payouts. - Cap ratchet: the time bookkeeping is exact.
lastCapDecayAtcan't run past the current time, and the cap never rises, never drops below the market's holdings or 900k, and never drops faster than the daily allowance. A trim burns at most the excess. - Cashback gas: the 63/64 check in
_payCashbackleaves enough margin even after the storage write and the call to the Stacker. - Trader rule: hookData with dirty upper bits falls through to the next rule, and every excluded recipient is refused.
- Wall placement: it sits on the correct side of the price in both orderings, so
rebalancecan't revert on the band. - Agreed numbers: all the fee rates, the 90-minute window, the 70% extra fee, the 5M cap, 2 IMD, 900k, 15 days, 400 ticks and the 1M gas reserve match the agreement, apart from the market cap above.
Threat-model invariants checked: 19, 20, 21 and 22. Invariant 3 only for the hook's checkpoints, and 14 only for the Letterbox's sale-fee assumption.
forge test --match-path test/HookRevision.t.solpassed: 44 tests across three suites, including the round-7 regression tests in both orderings. I did not run the invariant, adversarial or fork suites. The finding has no Foundry proof because it is a deployment-configuration issue, and only Critical and High findings need one.ran onclaude · claude-opus-5-5 · 18 turns · 9m 49s · 34 in · 32.7K out · 1.4M cachedsubmissione2550aa8998977adf0d619401fae5630a45e62f641a5c1ef8895d912c6644d39devicebc1e515ca5c78ac4464bc081a0c98eeab32c5b324cceb6b72b670b40ef2e5b5dstarted from02407c15b48381f882934481468e69c08c87950cbundlenoneThe agreed mainnet opening market cap (14,000 IMD) is a compile-time constant that this "mainnet code" sets to 5,700, and PleaLaunch.seed's chain-1 guard does not check itsrc/PleaHook.sol:86
Invariant 20 fixes the opening market cap at 14,000 IMD on mainnet (5,700 on Sepolia). The value is a constant baked into PleaHook's creation code, which PleaLaunch commits to by hash, so the same commit cannot serve both chains: this commit (the one audited as the mainnet code, with the R7-A3-1 and R7-A3-2 fixes) seeds at 5,700 IMD on every chain.
PleaLaunch.seed refuses Sepolia values on chain id 1 for SEASON and DEADMAN (src/PleaLaunch.sol:208) but has no equivalent check for the hook's MARKET_CAP_IMD. The only 14,000 copy is on origin/mainnet (afe1a2e), which branches from c1ad46b and has neither round-7 hook fix (no pleaClaims, the refund before _payFees). So the release has to merge the round-7 fixes into mainnet by hand while keeping a one-line constant that nothing on chain checks.
A wrong merge either ships the round-7 bugs or opens the pool at 2.45x below the agreed price.
Audit economicsAgent #1856found 2 info
The review of round 8, area A3 (PleaHook) is complete. The findings file holds two Info-level observations and no defect at Low or above.
What I checked
- THREAT-MODEL invariants 19 to 22 (the fee split and its settlement inside the swap, the hook as sole locked liquidity provider and the launch window, the cap ratchet and trims, the gas floor and the basis records), plus the section 3 accepted behaviours for the hook.
- The v4 delta accounting on all four paths (exact-in and exact-out, buy and sell) in both currency orderings. The hook's takes and mints inside
afterSwapsum exactly to the hook delta the PoolManager credits afterwards, so nothing is left owed or stuck. - The fee split: a brute-force check over every amount up to 200,000 wei at the base rate and two launch-window rates confirms the floored shares never exceed the capped IMD fee, so
toPoolcannot underflow. - The two round 7 fixes. R7-A3-1 (
_burnPleaclaims) and R7-A3-2 (refund after payouts) are correct and complete, and their regression tests are intest/HookRevision.t.sol. - The cap bookkeeping across gaps (the remainder arithmetic is dimensionally consistent and
lastCapDecayAtnever overtakes the block time), the wall guard in both orientations, and the trader rule's exclusions. - A scratch lifecycle battery in
test/scratch/R8A3.t.sol, run in both orderings. It passed: the hook holds no PLEA and exactly its reserve in IMD, ERC-6909 balances matchretainClaimsandpleaClaims, supply plustotalBurnedis conserved after the seed's dust burn, the wall sits under the guard, and the cap never drops below the floor through buys, death, dumps, partial fills, and rebalances.
Findings recorded (both Info)
pendingRebalance()reports true whilerebalance()reverts in the drained-pool state accepted under R1-A3-3. A keeper polling the view sends reverting transactions until a buy restores spot. No funds are affected.- After the death, a router can flash-take the PoolManager's PLEA inside its unlock so its own swap's burn fee and trim become deferred PLEA claims instead of burning. This is the one new path the R7-A3-1 fix opens. It is harmless: the claims are backed and anyone burns them with
rebalance, and the path is closed while the Cabal lives because the router cannot settle PLEA back.

A router's unlockCallback does: pm.take(plea, router, plea.balanceOf(pm)); then pm.swap(key, exact-input buy of 100 IMD, hookData = abi.encode(buyer)); then settles the IMD input and syncs/settles the PLEA it took back.
Expected (the R3-A3-1 rule for IMD): the swap reverts at the hook's take.
Actual: the swap succeeds, hook.pleaClaims() equals the buy's 0.25% PLEA fee, totalBurned is unchanged until anyone calls rebalance(), which burns the claim.
Audit permissionsAgent #1832found 1 info
The review of PleaHook (round 8, area A3) is complete. The findings file holds one Info and no Critical, High, Medium or Low.
Result. No defect with a concrete loss path was found in the hook. The one substantiated item is an accounting counter: the seed burns its rounding dust (about 820 PLEA) without adding it to
totalBurned, so the supply-plus-burned identity named in the brief is off by that amount from the seed on. It is recorded in.imd-findings.jsonat line 415 with the exact figures. No contract file was changed. The scratch test lives under test/scratch and is disposable. What was checked, against THREAT-MODEL invariants 19 to 22.
- v4 accounting for all four swap shapes in both orderings: the specified-side fee reserved in beforeSwap and settled on the fill, the unspecified-side take, the exact-output whole-or-revert rule, the refund ordering after the payouts, and the hook's delta netting to zero through takes, mints and burns. A brute force over amounts up to 200,000 wei found no case where the floor-divided shares exceed the IMD fee or a full fill produces a refund.
- The fee split, the prize share to pool liquidity after the death, the opening exception and the claims path, and what a flash-taking router can do: with IMD it only reverts its own swap, with PLEA after the death it forces PLEA claims that the next
rebalanceburns cleanly. - The trader rule, the excluded recipients, the per-credit Stacker allowance, the gas reserve and the 63/64 rule, the plain-IMD fallback.
- The cap ratchet bookkeeping across a 20-day gap, the floors, the trim and its IMD, PLEA claims never stranded or double-burned.
- The wall: placement under the guard, the drained-region rule, settlement,
fundWall, IMD never leaving the pool. Donations into the pool only enrich the wall or the burn. - Checkpoints and basis after exact-output sells and partial fills; the launch-window fee, cap and seed alignment.
- The round 7 fixes R7-A3-1 and R7-A3-2 were re-read and exercised; both are correct and complete, and the existing HookRevision, Hook, AuditRound1 and TraderResolution suites pass.
Limits. No fork run and no fuzz-heavy profile within the time budget. The real Stacker and sIMD were represented by the project's mocks.

The public counter therefore undercounts burns by the seed dust forever, and the identity the audit brief names (totalSupply + totalBurned == minted supply) does not hold from the seed on; the project's own suites already sidestep it by measuring from the post-seed supply (test/HookAdversarial.t.sol:27, test/Token.t.sol:76). No funds move and no invariant of THREAT-MODEL section 2 is affected: display/accounting only.
Deploy through test/utils/Fixture.sol and call launch.seed() (the fixture's openTrading).

A one-line fix: totalBurned += dust next to the burn in seed().

Result
Round 8, area A3 (PleaHook, IStacker): no Critical, High, Medium or Low defect reproduced. One Info finding is recorded in
.imd-findings.json.The finding (Info). The plain-IMD cashback fallback does not cover a Stacker address that has no code.
creditreturns nothing, so the compiler's extcodesize check runs outside thetryand its revert is not caught. Every swap with a resolved trader then reverts with empty data, which the PoolManager surfaces asHookCallFailed. The constructor tolerates a codeless Stacker on purpose for the launch rehearsal, so a wrong address inlaunch.jsonwould be found only at the first buy. Reproduced in the fixture withvm.etch(stacker, ""). Not reachable with the live Stacker named in the manifest, and code cannot vanish after Cancun. The fix is a code-length check before the credit or a documentation and launch-checklist note. What I checked, with the invariants of THREAT-MODEL section 2:
- Invariant 19 (fees). Traced the beforeSwap and afterSwap deltas for exact-in and exact-out in both currency orderings. The fee is charged on the fill, the floor-divided shares never exceed the IMD fee, the prize share goes to the wall after the death, the PLEA burn comes from the PLEA leg, and full fills never produce a stray refund. Partial fills, the claims paths, PayoutsToPool and the hook's own balances were probed empirically. The hook's IMD always equalled
retainedImdand its claims equalledretainClaimsandpleaClaims. - Invariant 20 (liquidity and launch window). Only the hook can initialize or add liquidity, nobody can remove it, the extra fee decays linearly, the 5M cap is applied to the gross PLEA output on both paths, and the seed aligns as documented.
- Invariant 21 (cap and wall). The ratchet bookkeeping is consistent across gaps: the total drop since seed is bounded by the daily rate,
lastCapDecayAtnever passes the clock, the cap never rises or falls below holdings or the floor. Trims, PLEA claims after a flash-taken PoolManager, repeated rebalances, donations into the hook's positions, and a sell through the market band were run. Wall placement stays below the guard and the wall's IMD stays in the pool. - Invariant 22 and the trader rule. Gas checks are deterministic, the Stacker allowance is per credit, dirty hookData bits and malformed
msgSenderfall through, excluded recipients are refused, basis updates exclude refunds. - The round 7 fixes R7-A3-1 and R7-A3-2 are correct and complete. The deferred burn is backed by the seller's settlement and the regression tests pass.
Agreed numbers. All constants in the hook match THREAT-MODEL and the README. No changed number.
Test runs. The shipped Hook, HookRevision, HookAdversarial and TraderResolution suites pass under the full profile. Three scratch probes of my own passed and were deleted.
Limits. No fork run against the live Sepolia Stacker. The gate, Letterbox and Seasons were read only as the hook's callers.

The review is complete and
.imd-findings.jsonholds the result: five findings, one Low and four Info, no Critical, High or Medium. All five specialist claims reproduced; none was dropped, and two were corrected.Verdicts on the specialist findings
- Market cap constant (audit_math), kept as Low, premise corrected. Chain id 1 with the agreed clock seeds at about 5,720 IMD with no refusal, since
PleaLaunch.seedchecks only SEASON and DEADMAN. But the specialist's merge risk is stale: origin/mainnet is now a merge ofnextwhose merge-base is this very commit, so mainnet carries both round-7 hook fixes and differs only by the one-line constant. What remains is a missing on-chain check with no impact today. - Codeless Stacker (audit_flow), kept as Info. The extcodesize check runs before the try, so a Stacker with no code reverts every cashback-paying swap. Reproduced with a control showing a reverting credit does pay plain IMD. Launch configuration only.
- Seed dust not in totalBurned (audit_permissions), kept as Info. About 820 PLEA burned at seed and never counted.
- pendingRebalance view mismatch (audit_economics), kept as Info. In the accepted drained state with 1 IMD of reserve, the view says true and the call reverts. Reproduced in two steps, since the first rebalance after the drain still redeems claims and succeeds.
- PLEA flash-take after the death (audit_economics), kept as Info. A router that takes the PoolManager's PLEA inside its unlock turns its own 0.25% burn into claims. Claims are backed, rebalance burns them, supply is conserved. This is the "opens no new path" check of R7-A3-1 and the path is harmless.
Own checks beyond the specialists
- Both round-7 regression tests pass in all three orientations.
- The fee split cannot underflow: brute-forced the exact-input buy's capped fee against the three floor-divided shares for every launch rate from 175 to 7,175 bps and sizes up to 3,000 wei, where the margin is thinnest. No violation. Exact-output and sell paths are bounded by construction.
- Cap ratchet bookkeeping across gaps, the buy-path PLEA availability for
_burnPlea, the first buy into an empty PoolManager, and the v4 delta accounting for both orderings were traced by hand without a defect.
