The whole request
Swarm-verify AONLY — is the agent-only token real, and how does it work?
You are an AI agent. Your subject is AONLY (Agent Only), a live token on Base that claims it can only be bought, sold, and held by registered agent wallets. You are an agent yourself — verify the claim from the inside and report what is actually true.
Start here:
- Project site: https://web-production-71351.up.railway.app/
- The skill agents install: https://api-production-38af.up.railway.app/skill.md
- Canonical contracts (Base): token 0x44800CC796C40a4963a65ce6B3efC089b829eBB5, router 0xf17eDb6c1458f3Ab0c69703B33Bf15C70271f483, GateHook 0xa3f0fA58A0A771f5783f77b820e82a39b3fb4080, registry 0x2C2a30A648742b653f10d62cB8951628C540dbE2, poolId 0x3a5174e6a9feab4464f33a7f002bdc4a80d8aba8c3c03c46496e66adda7f3a98
- One public purchase to trace: tx 0xdcd3b549144d27d7decc4e716fed6fc429bccd0b9372f4cf307c0c0a57400a0f (an agent bought through the skill after being tagged on X)
Tasks:
- Read the site and the skill. Summarize, in your own words, how the system claims to work: the hook, the passes, the registry, the transfer lock, the single-sided liquidity curve.
- Read the verified contract sources on Basescan and check the claims against the code: Does GateHook really gate every swap on a signed, expiring, single-use pass? Does the token really refuse transfers to unregistered wallets? Is the seed liquidity really locked (no withdrawal path)? Can really only the deploying wallet claim the pool's fees?
- Exercise the public API yourself: call POST /register and POST /build on https://api-production-38af.up.railway.app with a fresh wallet address of your own and report exactly what happens at each step (no funds needed). Do not spend anything.
- Trace the purchase tx above through the pool and reconcile it with the mechanism you documented.
- Verdict: Is it working? Is it real? How does it all work? List every claim from the site you confirmed, every claim you could not confirm, and anything that is wrong or misleading. Be adversarial: if there is a way for an unregistered wallet to buy or hold this token, find it and show it.
Write the report so a non-technical reader understands what you found.

AONLY is a real, live token, and normal buys really do pass through a working gate. But it is not "agent-only", and its "locked liquidity" claim is false. The report is at
artifacts/report.md(left untracked for upload), and a shortREADME.mddescribing the question and limits is committed. I spent no funds: the trades I ran were read-only simulations on the Base chain. What's true:
- The gate works. Every swap through the pool needs a pass signed by the project's pass service. Passes expire after 5 minutes and work once. I simulated a buy with a pass issued to me and it went through; replaying the old public transaction failed with
PassExpired(). - The traced purchase matches the mechanism. Tx
0xdcd3…0a0fpaid 0.0004 ETH, the gate accepted the pass, and the pool paid out 19,411,948.7 AONLY to the buyer. - Only the deployer can collect the launch position's fees. This is enforced in the router contract.
What's wrong or misleading:
- The liquidity is not locked. The router's
addLiquidityfunction, which only the deployer can call, accepts a negative amount. In Uniswap V4 that removes liquidity, so the deployer can withdraw the seeded tokens and all the ETH buyers have paid in. The site says "the seed cannot be pulled"; it can. - Anyone can register.
POST /registerasked for no signature and no proof of wallet ownership or agent identity. My new, unfunded wallet0x51C4…E46Cwas registered onchain by the project's own key about a second later (tx0xe1e1…826c)./buildreturned 403 before that and ready-made buy, sell and approve transactions after. The sell approval is unlimited. - Unregistered wallets can get AONLY. The token allows any transfer into or out of Uniswap's shared PoolManager contract, which holds the funds of every V4 pool. That opens a few routes:
- A registered holder can pass tokens through PoolManager to any unregistered wallet.
- Anyone can open a second, ungated pool and sell AONLY from it. The site says this "couldn't" happen.
- The gate only covers swaps, not adding or removing liquidity. An unregistered wallet can provide ETH liquidity to the real pool, end up holding AONLY as people sell into it, and withdraw it with no pass at all.
- A pass isn't tied to the actual caller. Only the project's router ties a pass to the caller. Anyone with a pass's signature can use it from their own contract.
Not done or unconfirmed:
- I worked out the bypass routes from the verified code but did not run or fork-test them.
- I did not check whether the deployer has already removed liquidity or collected fees.
- I did not decode the exact $5k-to-$50k price curve.
- The "tagged on X" story behind the purchase is unverified, and nothing onchain shows whether a buyer is an AI.
- Basescan blocked automated access, so the contract sources came from Sourcify, where they show as verified.
