Build the "Squeek Studio" website: a creative studio where Squeek NFT holders turn their own on-chain Squeeks into profile pictures, X banners, phone wallpapers, stickers and a "Squeek ID" card, with frames and badges driven by real on-chain data (level, time staked, trait rarity, the live wheel). Squeekchain is a proof-of-work toychain on Ethereum Sepolia powered by a real hamster (Squeektoshi) on a wheel; Squeeks are its fully on-chain NFTs (~9,000 minted on Sepolia). Static site (works from IPFS, relative URLs, hash routing), no backend, no token, no ETH payments, no transactions. Everything renders in the browser; nothing is uploaded.

DATA SOURCES (public, read-only)

  • Squeek collection (ERC-721, Sepolia, chainId 11155111): 0xc4c7982657f00509548f3a3a41db7fa439a6856b. tokenURI(id) returns data:application/json;base64 with name, description, image (data:image/svg+xml;base64, a dot-grid character) and attributes: Palette, Color Pattern, Body Glyph, Face Glyph, Eye Glyph, Muzzle Glyph, Ear Glyph, Illumination, Eyes, Ears, Background. Also ownerOf(id), totalSupply(), balanceOf, Transfer events.
  • Staking: 0x50fd1780526c3186a0c037c7622203bc4fb611ca. depositor(collection, tokenId) returns the wallet that deposited a Squeek. Deposited Squeeks are held by Staking, so a wallet owns a Squeek if ownerOf(id) == wallet OR depositor(collection, id) == wallet.
  • Squeekchain API (CORS open, no key, big numbers as decimal strings, "unavailable" means unknown, never zero): GET https://api.squeekchain.com/v1/accounts/{address} (per-Squeek level, custody wallet/staking, merge info when present), GET /v1/accounts/{address}/activity (claims, deposits, merges with timestamps: use the earliest current deposit to compute "staked for N days"), GET /v1/status (measurement.coreStatus ACTIVE/IDLE, rpmMilli, builder.anchor.blockHeight), GET /v1/economy/state.
  • RPC list with fallback and 10 s timeouts: https://ethereum-sepolia-rpc.publicnode.com, https://sepolia.gateway.tenderly.co, https://1rpc.io/sepolia. Batch reads with Multicall3 (0xcA11bde05977b3631167028862bE2a173976CA11). Cache tokenURI per id in IndexedDB (art and traits never change).
  • Rarity: ship a build-time snapshot (scripts/snapshot.ts) that reads attributes for ids 1..totalSupply via Multicall3 and writes public/traits-snapshot.json (attributes only, no images) with the block number and date. In the app, rarity for each trait = share of Squeeks with that value in the snapshot; Squeeks minted after the snapshot are read live and still scored against it. Show "Rarity as of block N". If the snapshot is missing, hide rarity features instead of failing.

FLOW

  1. Landing: what it is, examples rendered from a few real Squeeks, "Connect wallet" and "Try any Squeek" (enter an id: preview mode, everything works except the "Verified holder" mark, and exports carry a "Preview" corner tag).
  2. Connect (EIP-1193: Rabby, MetaMask; WalletConnect optional). List the wallet's Squeeks: held and deposited (badge "Staked"). Optional "Verify holder": personal_sign of "Squeek Studio | I hold Squeek #ID | " (free, no gas) unlocks the "Verified holder" seal on exports (the seal shows a short signature fingerprint).
  3. Studio: pick a Squeek, pick a format, pick a template, tweak, export.

FORMATS (exact sizes, PNG export, crisp pixel scaling with imageSmoothing off)

  • PFP 1000x1000 (also a circle-safe guide for X)
  • X banner 1500x500 (keep the right 60% clear of X's avatar overlap zone, show a guide)
  • Phone wallpaper 1170x2532
  • Desktop wallpaper 2560x1440
  • Sticker pack: 6 transparent PNGs 512x512 (happy, sleepy, running, gm, wen merge, zoomies) built by recolouring/re-posing the dot grid from the SVG
  • Squeek ID card 1200x750: art, name, all 11 traits with rarity %, level, custody (wallet/staked), staked days, owner (shortened), rarest trait highlighted, QR to the Squeek's page on the site

TEMPLATES AND DATA-DRIVEN DECOR (at least 8 templates)

Frames tied to real data: bronze/silver/gold/neon frame by level; "Staker" ribbon with days staked (7, 30, 90 tiers); "Rare" foil when its rarest trait is below 2%; "Wheel live" glow when /status says ACTIVE at export time (shows time stamp). Palette-matched backgrounds generated from the Squeek's own colours (extract from SVG fills). Patterns echoing the Background trait. Text options: name, custom nickname, handle. Duo/team banner: up to 5 of your Squeeks in one banner. All decoration is original, drawn in code (canvas/SVG); no external images or fonts, no Squeekchain logos.

SHARING

"Download" (blob URL), "Copy to clipboard" where supported, navigator.share with files on mobile, and "Share on X" via https://x.com/intent/post with prefilled text and the Squeek's page link (#/squeek/). Public Squeek page shows art, traits, rarity, level, staked status and a "Make art with this Squeek" button. A gallery page lets users browse the latest 100 Squeeks (by Transfer events) and filter by trait.

ABOUT

How data is read, rarity method and snapshot block, privacy ("nothing leaves your browser"), "unofficial fan project, testnet values have no monetary value", "Made by @Truongsonxyz" (https://x.com/Truongsonxyz), "Join Squeekchain Genesis" (https://squeekchain.com/genesis/e86n3z8y), source link. EN and VI with a switch, every string in one i18n file.

SAFETY

Only personal_sign; never request approvals, transfers or transactions; never ask for private keys or seed phrases. No analytics or trackers. If RPC/API fails, show cached Squeeks and a clear message; preview mode by id must still work from cache.

TECH

Vite + TypeScript, viem (multicall, ABI, signature), canvas rendering in a Web Worker/OffscreenCanvas where available. Pure functions with unit tests: ownership (held vs deposited), rarity maths, frame tier selection (level, staked days, rarest trait), size/safe-zone layouts, SVG colour extraction, staked-days from activity. Light/dark, keyboard accessible, 44 px targets, works at 360 px, prefers-reduced-motion respected.

ACCEPTANCE

  • A wallet holding or staking Squeeks sees them all; preview by id works without a wallet.
  • Every format exports at the exact pixel size, pixel-crisp, with correct safe zones.
  • Frames/ribbons/foil change correctly with level, staked days and rarity; ID card shows all 11 traits with rarity %.
  • No network calls except the listed RPCs and api.squeekchain.com; nothing uploaded.
  • Unit tests and build pass; README documents formats, templates, data fields, rarity snapshot, and how to refresh it.

  3. Design criticAgent #1368found 1 medium, 1 low

I found 2 defects in the Squeek Studio build: one medium bug in the PFP export and one low taste issue in the landing hero. Neither reopens the build. There are no high findings. The design probe passed all 16 of its checks.

    Two limits on this review:

    • No live data. The sandbox's network proxy blocked the browser from reaching the Squeekchain API and the Sepolia RPCs. Both answer from the command line. So I could not open the studio with a real Squeek, check a downloaded PNG's pixel size, or see the gallery fill. I judged those from the source. "After review" below means I checked the code but could not run it.
    • No Safari check. Only Chromium ran; the WebKit browser on this machine is the wrong version. I did not run the unit tests or the build either, because the packages aren't installed.

    Requirements

    • "Static site … hash routing": met. Routes are in src/App.tsx:1792-1810.
    • "examples rendered from a few real Squeeks": met. public/examples.json feeds the landing cards.
    • "Try any Squeek (enter an id: preview mode…)": met. The ID box and button are on the landing page.
    • "exports carry a 'Preview' corner tag": met, render.ts:673.
    • "Connect (EIP-1193 …)": met, src/lib/wallet.ts:82.
    • "WalletConnect optional": not built, which the brief allows. Mobile links that open the site inside a wallet app are at App.tsx:1610-1622.
    • "held and deposited (badge 'Staked')": after review. The ownership logic is in core.ts:25 (ownership), but I could not list a real wallet.
    • "personal_sign … 'Verified holder' seal … signature fingerprint": met in source. The request is at App.tsx:751 and the seal at render.ts:630-663. Signing needs a wallet, which I don't have.
    • Six formats at exact sizes: met. core.ts:16-21 has 1000×1000, 1500×500, 1170×2532, 2560×1440, 512×512 and 1200×750.
    • "imageSmoothing off": met, render.ts:227.
    • "circle-safe guide" and the banner avatar zone: met, core.ts:88-100.
    • Six stickers (happy, sleepy, running, gm, wen merge, zoomies): met, render.ts:615-620.
    • ID card with all 11 traits, rarity %, rarest trait and QR: met in source (render.ts:594). After review for live data.
    • "at least 8 templates": met. Exactly 8 in types.ts:40-48.
    • Frames by level, staker ribbon (7/30/90 days), foil below 2%: met, core.ts:60-86. An unknown level gets no frame.
    • "Wheel live" glow with a time stamp: met, render.ts:488-508.
    • Palette taken from the SVG's colours: met, core.ts:102 (extractColors).
    • Patterns echoing the Background trait: after review.
    • Text options (name, nickname, handle): met, StudioOptions in types.ts.
    • Duo/team banner of up to 5: met, render.ts:328-342.
    • No external images or fonts: met. Text is drawn in system-ui.
    • Download, copy to clipboard, mobile share with files: met, App.tsx:821-881.
    • "Share on X" via the post link: met, App.tsx:1050.
    • Public Squeek page with a "Make art" button: met. Live data is after review.
    • Gallery of the latest 100 by Transfer events, with a trait filter: met, data.ts:369-375 and the gallery page. It shows a clear error and a Retry button when the RPCs fail.
    • About page items (data, rarity, privacy, unofficial note, @Truongsonxyz, Genesis link, source link): met. Footer and About in App.tsx.
    • EN and VI with every string in one file: met, src/i18n.ts.
    • Only listed network hosts: met. Chromium contacted only the site itself, api.squeekchain.com and the three listed RPCs.
    • Snapshot script, "Rarity as of block N", hide rari

    • mediumbug: the name on PFP exports sits half on the dark art disc, so its top half disappearssrc/lib/render.ts:380

Now: with 'Show name' on, the PFP art is lifted by h0.05 (artY = 50, disc centre y 450, radius 0.43800 = 344, bottom edge y 794). The name is drawn with an alphabetic baseline at h*0.82 = 820 at 65px, so the glyphs run from about y 773 to 820. The top 21px of every letter lands on the near-black disc in dark ink.

Change to: put the PFP name baseline at h * 0.9 (y 900). The text then clears the disc by about 60px and stays inside the 460px circle-safe guide: its widest corner, about (±190, 853..900) from (500,500), is at most 443px from the centre.

Why: the brief asks that 'every format exports ... pixel-crisp, with correct safe zones', and the name is the main text on the most-shared format.

Width 1440, open the landing page (#/) and scroll to 'A little squeek, everywhere.'

      (taste probe shot test/scratch/taste/shots/1440-full.png).

On the 'Squeek #1' and 'Squeek #2' cards, the upper half of the name merges into the dark disc and 'Squeek #2' reads as clipped.

Measured on the 435px card: name centre at about 795 of 1000 against a disc bottom of 794.

The same geometry applies to every PFP export with showName on (render.ts:291-293 sets artY; render.ts:380 sets the baseline).

    • lowtaste: the back hero card's label is cut to 'Phone w' / 'Phone wal' by the card in frontsrc/App.tsx:283

Now: the hero stack puts three rotated cards on top of each other. The back card's caption 'Phone wallpaper' is covered by the main card, so the first screen shows a clipped word ('Phone w' at 390, 'Phone wal' at 1440).

Change to: delete this so the back card shows only its art; the front card's 'Profile picture' and the main card's 'Squeek #1' still label the stack.

Why: a cut label reads as a layout bug on the first screen, and the formats are listed in full in the next section.

Width 390 and 1440, open #/ in Chromium. test/scratch/taste/shots/390.png shows 'Phone w' at the left edge of the stack (about y 1380 in the 2x shot). 1440.png shows 'Phone wal' under the main card.
