Build and publish an original, production-ready Squeekchain companion named "Squeekstr Desk". This is an interactive paper-money protocol desk for the Squeekchain Genesis Code lane, inspired by the usable paper vault UX of quad.cx and the live-wheel energy of squeekout.fun, encoding public SQUEEKSTR mechanics from https://sqkstr.xyz/mechanism. It is NOT a read-only dashboard, landing page, explorer, thin API wrapper, copy of squeekout/quad/sqkstr, or marketing site. Deliver a working hosted IPFS site plus source and README.

Core product: a polished interactive paper vault people can use without a wallet. On start, give a starter kit (several Level-1 paper Squeeks at 1000 power each, paper SQK, paper SQKSTR). The user must be able to: (1) Deposit selected Squeeks into the protocol vault and mint tracker receipt NFT cards that record mining power; (2) Merge two same-level tips in the vault with a clear before/after preview — total mining power grows by a +10% bump, of which 75% stays with community depositors and 25% is a protocol cut; cooldown counted in completed Squeek blocks from the live API; (3) Earn paper SQK to trackers by power share while the page is open; (4) Simulate buy/sell of paper SQKSTR with a 5% tax whose pool auto-buys a paper Squeek into the vault after a threshold; (5) Claim accrued SQK from a tracker to the paper wallet; (6) Trade a tracker receipt between You and Friend paper wallets; (7) Persist in localStorage with a Reset lab control. Open straight into the desk after a one-click start; no landing-page-only delivery.

Meaningful Squeekchain integration: fetch https://api.squeekchain.com/v1/status every ~15s with timeout/backoff and a stale indicator. Use measurement.coreStatus and measurement.rpmMilli when present. When SPINNING, enable a clearly labelled Spin Rush accrual boost; when IDLE, use the base rate. Show live state, RPM, block height, timestamp, and source. If live data fails, enter explicitly labelled Practice mode with simulated ticks so the desk stays usable.

Art and UX: dark near-black theme with cream/amber accents (hamster/cyber), dense action cards and clear CTAs like a real fintech desk, smooth subtle motion, responsive mobile layout, accessible controls. English-first UI.

Quality: exercise deposit → receipt → merge → earn/claim → tax threshold → trade in a browser. Document live integration and that this is a paper simulation of SQUEEKSTR mechanics, not the official on-chain sqkstr.xyz protocol.

Rules: paper mode must work with no wallet; optional read-only address display via window.ethereum is fine; no private keys, no tokens/payments/approvals, no gambling with real funds, no custom mainnet contracts or mainnet transactions. Do not promise a badge or whitelist. About / How it works must link https://sqkstr.xyz/, https://sqkstr.xyz/mechanism, https://squeekchain.com/, and https://squeekchain.com/genesis/d4sp8cje. README first paragraph must state: Squeekstr Desk is a community project for the Squeekchain Buildooooor badge. Use the concise project title "Squeekstr Desk", not this prompt as the title.

  3. Design criticAgent #1207found 2 medium, 3 low

The desk is close to shippable: nothing I could check is missing or faked, and I found five issues, none high. This was a source-only review. Bash wouldn't start in this sandbox and the browser tool has no Chromium installed, so taste@1 did not run and I took no screenshots. I read src/App.tsx, src/engine.ts, src/live.ts, src/status.ts, src/useLab.ts, src/styles.css, index.html and the README.

    Requirements

    • "Open straight into the desk after a one-click start": met, the "Start paper desk" card (App.tsx:357).
    • "Starter kit (several Level-1 … 1000 power, paper SQK, paper SQKSTR)": met, 6 Squeeks, 10,000 SQK and 500 SQKSTR (engine.ts:144).
    • "Deposit selected Squeeks … mint tracker receipt NFT cards": met, the deposit action and receipt cards (App.tsx:468, 682).
    • "Merge two same-level tips … before/after preview, +10%, 75/25": met, .merge-preview (App.tsx:602).
    • "Cooldown counted in completed Squeek blocks from the live API": met, uses builder.anchor.blockHeight (status.ts:31, useLab.ts:117).
    • "Earn paper SQK to trackers by power share while the page is open": met, accrue runs only while the page is visible (engine.ts:333, useLab.ts:106).
    • "Buy/sell … 5% tax whose pool auto-buys a paper Squeek after a threshold": met, Paper swap and the tax-pool bar (App.tsx:986, engine.ts:303).
    • "Claim accrued SQK": met, "Claim SQK" (App.tsx:704).
    • "Trade a tracker receipt between You and Friend": met, the trade modal (App.tsx:1355).
    • "Persist in localStorage with a Reset lab control": met (useLab.ts:79, App.tsx:1323).
    • "Fetch /v1/status every ~15s with timeout/backoff and a stale indicator": met, 7s timeout, backoff up to 120s, a "Stale" label (live.ts:62, App.tsx:884).
    • "Use measurement.coreStatus and rpmMilli": met (status.ts).
    • "When SPINNING, enable a clearly labelled Spin Rush boost; IDLE → base": met only by opt-in. The toggle starts off, so a SPINNING wheel alone doesn't raise the rate (App.tsx:145, finding 1).
    • "Show live state, RPM, block height, timestamp, source": met, the wheel panel (App.tsx:788–901).
    • "Explicitly labelled Practice mode": met, "Practice mode · simulated" with 8-second ticks (App.tsx:815).

    • "English-first UI": met.
    • "About / How it works links the four URLs": met (App.tsx:1286–1313).
    • "README first paragraph states the badge sentence; title 'Squeekstr Desk'": met (README.md:1–3).
    • "Document live integration and that this is a paper simulation": met, README "Live Squeekchain integration".
    • "No wallet, keys, payments; no badge or whitelist promise": met (App.tsx:1316, README.md:3).
    • "Working hosted IPFS site": after review.
    • "Exercise the flows in a browser": the builder says it ran tests/browser.mjs (README.md:100). I couldn't run it, and WebKit was not tested.
    • "window.ethereum address display": optional, not built.

The idea: a dark fintech-style paper vault where a live hamster wheel drives the earning rate. Keep the wheel and the receipt cards; cut the slogan copy.

    Findings (in .imd-findings.json):

    1. Medium, fidelity: Spin Rush starts off (useState(false), App.tsx:145), so a SPINNING wheel doesn't change accrual until the visitor finds the toggle. At 390 that toggle is below the vault and receipts. Fix: default it to true, also on reset (App.tsx:1345).
    2. **Low,

    • mediumfidelity: a SPINNING wheel does not boost accrual until the visitor finds and switches on an opt-in togglesrc/App.tsx:145

Now: Spin Rush state starts false and reset sets it back to false (App.tsx:1345 setRush(false);). rushActive = rush && chain.spinning (App.tsx:186), so when the live API reports coreStatus SPINNING, accrual stays at the base 0.8 SQK/s unless the visitor switches the toggle in The wheel panel. At 390 that panel comes after the vault and the receipts.

Change to: useState(true) at App.tsx:145, and setRush(true) in the reset handler at App.tsx:1345. The toggle stays as an opt-out, and IDLE still forces the base rate through chain.spinning.

Why: the brief says "When SPINNING, enable a clearly labelled Spin Rush accrual boost; when IDLE, use the base rate." The live state should drive the rate. Right now the live wheel only unlocks a hidden switch.

      Width 390 (any width).

Steps: start the desk, deposit 2 Squeeks, let /v1/status return measurement.coreStatus="SPINNING" (or click 'Use Practice', which sets spinning=true).

Expected: the stat note under 'Your claimable' reads '1.200 paper SQK / sec' (You hold all 2,000 vault power, so the share is 1, times 0.8 × 1.5).

Actual: it reads '0.800 paper SQK / sec' and rush-help reads 'Enable boosted accrual while the wheel spins.' until the Spin Rush checkbox is toggled.

      Source evidence: App.tsx:145 useState(false), App.tsx:186 const rushActive = rush && chain.spinning;.

Read from source; neither the probe nor a browser could run on this machine.

    • lowbug: the Spin Rush switch stays checked and gold while the wheel is IDLE and the boost is offsrc/App.tsx:828

Now: the checkbox is bound to the raw rush state and is only disabled when !chain.spinning. Switch it on during SPINNING, then let the wheel go IDLE: the switch stays checked (input:checked + .switch paints #d1ae70, only dimmed to opacity 0.5 by :disabled). The help line reads 'Wheel idle. Base accrual is active.' at the same moment. When the wheel spins again, the boost comes back silently.

Change to: checked={rush && chain.spinning} so the control shows the rate that actually applies.

Why: each state must say only what the app knows. A switch that shows ON while the rate is the base rate contradicts the line under it.

      Width 390 or 1440.

Steps: start desk; while status is SPINNING (or in Practice), switch on Spin Rush; next poll returns coreStatus "IDLE".

      Expected: switch off/disabled.

Actual: switch remains in the checked (gold, translated knob) position at 50% opacity while #rush-help says 'Wheel idle.

      Base accrual is active.'

      Evidence: App.tsx:828 checked={rush}, App.tsx:829 disabled={!chain.spinning}, styles.css:946 .rush-toggle input:checked + .switch and styles.css:953 disabled opacity 0.5.

Read from source; no browser available.

    • mediumtaste: a tool page carries a stack of six slogans where headings should name the tasksrc/App.tsx:342

Now: this is a working desk (a tool), but its copy is a run of voice lines. 'Real wheel. Paper assets. A protocol you can play with.' sits under the h1 (App.tsx:342). The sidebar has 'A little practice. A lot of squeek.' (App.tsx:305-306). The starter h2 is 'Your first shift starts here.' (App.tsx:360). The merge intro is 'Two tips. One stronger Squeek.' (App.tsx:562). The empty receipt h3 is 'A little paper. A share of the power.' (App.tsx:737). The help dialog title is 'Small Squeeks. Shared power.' (App.tsx:1226).

Change to: delete the p at App.tsx:342; the connection pill then aligns with the h1 and the starter card moves up about 30px. Delete the sidebar-note at App.tsx:304-307 and keep its 'Local paper assets. No wallet needed.' span. Starter h2: 'Start with 6 paper Squeeks'. Merge intro strong: 'Merge two same-level Squeeks'. Receipt empty h3: 'No tracker receipts yet'. Dialog title: 'How Squeekstr Desk works'.

Why: tools and dashboards are read to get a task done, so headings name the task and there is no voice line. Four or more slogans count as a stack to cut.

      Width 390, fresh localStorage.

      Steps: load the page.

The first screen shows h1 'Your paper vault', then the slogan line, then 'Your first shift starts here.'.

Open Merge & grow with an empty vault, or view Tracker receipts with none, and the other slogans appear, as does the help dialog title.

      Evidence: the quoted strings at App.tsx:305-306, 342, 360, 562, 737 and 1226.

    • lowbug: 'About & mechanics' shows an external-link icon but opens an in-page dialogsrc/App.tsx:1192

Now: the footer button 'About & mechanics' (App.tsx:1190-1193) calls setDialog("help"), but it carries the same 'external' arrow icon that the real off-site links use (Built on Squeekchain, Squeekchain API, the source links). A visitor reads it as leaving the site.

Change to: drop the icon at App.tsx:1192, or use <Icon name="help" size={12} />, the icon the header help button already uses for this dialog.

Why: the icon has to match what the control does. The site uses 'external' for off-site links everywhere else.

      Width 390 (footer).

Steps: scroll to the footer, then click 'About & mechanics ↗'.

Expected from the icon: a new tab.

      Actual: the modal 'Small Squeeks.

      Shared power.' opens in place.

Evidence: App.tsx:1190 onClick={() => setDialog("help")} next to the external icon at line 1192.

    • lowaccessibility: aria-label on three role-less divs names nothing for screen readerssrc/App.tsx:436

Now: the button groups 'Vault view' (App.tsx:436), 'Active paper wallet' (App.tsx:950-952) and 'Swap direction' (App.tsx:999) put aria-label on a plain div with no role. ARIA 1.2 prohibits naming the generic role, so assistive technology drops the label, and the You/Friend wallet switch reads as two loose toggle buttons.

Change to: add role="group" to each of the three divs and keep the existing aria-labels.

Why: the wallet switch decides whose receipts, balances and swaps every other control acts on, so its name has to reach screen-reader users.

      Any width.

Steps: inspect the accessibility tree of the Paper wallet panel.

Expected: a group named 'Active paper wallet' that contains the You and Friend buttons.

Actual: a generic element with no accessible name (aria-label is ignored on role=generic).

Evidence: App.tsx:436, 950-952 and 999 are div elements with aria-label and no role attribute.
