Publish this repo as-is: Wheel Call, a tested Squeekchain game where players predict the next 10-minute round against an AI Oracle and calls settle on the real on-chain round. Keep the code and logic unchanged; only fix what is clearly broken.

  2. Site content checkAgent #617found 3 medium

Reviewed the entire hosted file, including its CSS and JavaScript. Recorded three reproducible medium findings in .imd-findings.json:

    • Cached history prevents valid calls from settling.
    • A startup API failure leaves play disabled.
    • Multiple tabs overwrite saved tickets.

No critical or high hosting blockers found. Browser checks completed; site code remains unchanged.

    • mediumCached older rounds prevent missing calls from being backfilled and settledindex.html:349

The history loader in index.html stops as soon as any cached round is older than minRound. That does not establish that the pending round or the intervening history is present. A returning player can have old cached rounds, an unresolved call, and newer results separated by a gap.

The loader then never follows the cursor containing the missing result. resolvePicks counts three successful but incomplete attempts and permanently marks the call void, refunding its stake instead of applying the available on-chain result. This also leaves the Oracle model and round tape missing the intervening history.

      Serve index.html and seed localStorage["wheelcall.v1"] with {"bank":900,"oracle":900,"refills":0,"inst":"review","rounds":{"500":0},"picks":[{"round":900,"band":"nap","stake":100,"mult":1.5,"oBand":"nap","oMult":1.5,"placedAt":1793561700000,"status":"open","tries":0}]}.

Reload with mocked successful API responses using installationId "review": /v1/core has configuration {"genesisTimestamp":"1793022600","roundDuration":"600"}, core {"settledThroughRound":"969"}, and events []; /v1/status has generatedAt "2026-11-02T07:29:22Z" and builder.anchor.settledThroughRound "969"; /v1/measurement/stats?range=7d returns {}.

The first events page has nextCursor "older" and system.settlement_completed events for rounds 920 through 969, each with payload {previousSettledThroughRound:r-1,settledThroughRound:r,activeRoundCount:0,workAdded:0}.

Configure cursor=older to return the same event type with payload {"previousSettledThroughRound":899,"settledThroughRound":900,"activeRoundCount":0,"workAdded":0} and nextCursor null.

Wait for boot and two 30-second event polls.

Expected: request cursor=older, settle the Nap call with payout 150, bank 1050.

Actual: no cursor request, tries becomes 3, the ticket says "Round could not be resolved from chain data" / "refunded", and bank is 1000.

Also reproduced using the live API responses captured on 2026-11-02: round 900 has workAdded 0 on the second events page, which the app never requests.

    • mediumOne failed startup configuration request leaves all calls disabled until reloadindex.html:765

index.html sets cfgOk only in loadCore, but invokes loadCore at boot and thereafter only when an existing unresolved pick needs missing data. For a new visitor, a temporary failure of the initial /v1/core request leaves cfgOk false permanently for that page session.

The polling loop continues fetching status, events and stats without retrying configuration, so the game remains at "Round —" / "Loading rounds…" and every prediction button stays disabled even after the API recovers.

Open index.html in a fresh browser context with no wheelcall.v1 storage.

Intercept only the first GET https://api.squeekchain.com/v1/core and return HTTP 503; allow all subsequent API requests, including any later /v1/core request, to succeed normally.

Leave the page open for 93 seconds (tested by advancing the browser clock in three 31-second steps).

Expected: polling retries configuration and enables calls once the API is healthy.

Actual: exactly one /v1/core request, repeated successful status/events requests, #tgtLbl remains "Round —", #placeBtn says "Loading rounds…", and #band-nap is disabled.

Reloading the page makes a second /v1/core request and immediately restores play.

    • mediumConcurrent tabs overwrite accepted tickets and saved balancesindex.html:258

index.html reads the shared wheelcall.v1 state only once into a per-tab object, then save() writes that entire object back without checking for another tab's changes. The call-exists and balance checks also use only that stale object. Two ordinary tabs can therefore accept different calls for the same round, and the later save silently deletes the earlier accepted ticket and replaces its balance.

Reloading the first tab loses the original call rather than settling it.

Use a fresh browser profile and open index.html in tabs A and B on the same origin.

Let both finish loading while calls are unlocked; both show 1,000 seeds.

In A, select Nap and place the default 100-seed call: A and localStorage show bank 900 and one Nap ticket.

Before that round locks, in B select stake 25, select Run, and place its call.

Expected: B recognizes the existing call and prevents a second call, or performs an explicit synchronized replacement without silently losing the accepted ticket.

Actual: B accepts the call using its stale 1,000 balance and replaces localStorage with bank 975 and only the Run ticket.

A still displays its Nap ticket until reloaded; after reloading A, the Nap ticket has disappeared and only the 25-seed Run ticket remains.

Reproduced in two Chromium tabs sharing one browser context, without modifying storage or page code.
