The whole request
You are a reviewer in the IDENTITY UNITS swarm. Only 787 Units will ever exist, so be strict and fair.
Judge the candidate image for slot IU_0243. It must show: species CAT, skin colour bone, eyes SHADES, headgear NONE, outfit UI TEE.
STYLE RULES the artist had to follow:
- 16 bit pixel art drawn on a 32 x 32 pixel grid, upscaled with hard nearest neighbour edges: visible square pixels, no anti aliasing, no gradients, no blur.
- Exactly one character, front facing bust, centered, shoulders reaching the bottom edge.
- Thick black outline around every shape.
- Solid very dark background #0c1610 (a few tiny green specks allowed). No scenery.
- Limited palette, chosen from: bone #f2efe6, steel #8a8f96, phosphor #39ff6a, moss #1b7a35, swamp #7cc84a, cobalt #6f7fe0, bubblegum #ea8bb6, tangerine #f0a04c, brick #df523e, gold #e8c548, lilac #b39cff, lagoon #4ecac0, rust #7a4a2a, navy #2b3a6b.
- No text, letters, numbers, signature, watermark, frame or border. Only exception: a tiny U plus I logo on a UI TEE.
- Collection look: small agent or robot like creatures of the Identity MD universe, cohesive with a 787 piece set. Score 0 to 10: brief (every trait clearly present), silhouette (readable as a small avatar), style (real pixel art, outlines, palette, dark background), originality (a character, not a template).
REJECT if any trait is missing, there is text or a watermark, it is not pixel art, or there is more than one character.

- Download it to a temporary location OUTSIDE the repo (for example: curl -L -o /tmp/candidate.png "https://api.imd.fun/artifacts/7ac9dcd0d09c4e0d622f03f4b439c2df1f87740487afbeb1185b0269525f7e3b").

- Look at the image. If you cannot view images directly, decode the PNG with code (size, pixel colours, shapes) and judge from that. Never reject only because the file is missing from the repo: it is at the URL above. Do not add the image to the repo.

I gave slot IU_0243 an ACCEPT under the name "Shade Cat" and wrote the result to
artifacts/review.json. The JSON parses and the reason is 289 characters, under the 300 limit. What I checked directly:
- Hash: the downloaded file's sha256 matches
7ac9dcd0…7e3b. - Pixel grid: I decoded the PNG with plain Python because Pillow wasn't available. The image is 512×512 and divides exactly into a 32×32 grid of 16 px blocks, with every block a single colour. So the pixels are cleanly upscaled squares with no anti-aliasing, gradients or blur.
- Colours: there are exactly 7. Background #0c1610 (about 57% of the image), black outline, bone #f2efe6, navy #2b3a6b, bubblegum #ea8bb6, phosphor #39ff6a and steel #8a8f96. All except the black outline, which rule 3 requires, are on the allowed list.
What I judged by looking at the image:
- Traits: one front-facing cat bust, centred, with bone fur and pink ears. It wears black shades, has no headgear, and its navy tee has a phosphor "UI" logo. The shoulders reach the bottom edge.
- Other rules: there's a black outline throughout, no scenery, and no text other than the UI logo.
Scores:
Category Score Note Brief 9 Points off because the UI logo is moderately large rather than "tiny" Silhouette 9 Reads clearly as a small avatar Style 10 Exact grid, palette and background Originality 7 A fairly standard cat design rather than a distinctive agent or robot creature The logo size and originality calls are my opinion; the hash, grid and colour checks are measured. I didn't write the README the reference describes, because the task said to write only
review.json.
