Audit the code at exactly these repository-relative entry paths: ["src/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol"]. Review every contract declared in those files and follow their imports and runtime dependencies. These paths are the required review subjects even when they are outside contracts/src.

Do not substitute a general repository audit or previously reviewed network infrastructure. Each specialist and the final judge must identify the entry files actually read, summarize their behavior and state any missing coverage. If an entry file cannot be read, report incomplete coverage instead of a clean review.

  • 1.highOracle step clamp is per receipt, not per time, with no minimum notional: dust swaps in one block inflate the TWAP and charge honest sellers MAX_EXTRAsrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:173

                uint256 hi = lp * (10000 + MAX_STEP_BPS) / 10000;
                uint256 lo = lp * (10000 - MAX_STEP_BPS) / 10000;
                if (price > hi) price = hi; else if (price < lo) price = lo;

    Merged from 4 specialist reports (math, economics, permissions, flow). _afterTrade prices every receipt as |amount0|*1e18/|amount1| (line 132) with no minimum size, and _observe clamps each observation to +/-10% of lastPrice (lines 173-175) no matter how much time has passed. N receipts in one block therefore move lastPrice by 1.1^N or 0.9^N.

    Pool rounding makes dust receipts arbitrarily mispriced: a 1-wei exact-output buy costs 1 wei ETH, so its price is 1e18 against a real 1e12, and it gets clamped to +10%. averagePrice() extrapolates lastPrice to now (line 111), and later honest trades can only pull it back 10% each. sellExtra() then compares the true spot against an inflated TWAP and charges up to MAX_EXTRA (2.7%) while spot is unchanged.

    In the other direction, dust sells (2e6 CLAUS-wei paid out as 1 wei ETH) push lastPrice down, which lets a large seller avoid a legitimate surcharge and also drives the floor-release finding. Attacker cost is gas plus a few wei; every seller in the window loses.

    Assumption: the adapter delivers a receipt for every swap, including wei-sized ones (nothing in scope rejects them).

    Fix: ignore observations below a minimum ETH notional, and scale the allowed step by elapsed time (e.g. MAX_STEP_BPS*(ts-lastTime)/SLOT, so 0 within the same second), or clamp against the pool spot.

    State: 49 hourly receipts amount0=-1e16, amount1=+1e22 (price 1e12); averagePrice()=(true,1e12); sellExtra(1000<<96)=0.

    Input: 30 receipts amount0=-1, amount1=+1 in one block, then warp +1h.

    Expected: quote(false,-1e22,1000<<96,1e24)[5]==2000 because spot did not move.

    Actual: lastPrice=17449402268870, TWAP=1328988045377, sellExtra=27000, a[5]=29000.

    Reproduced: the attached proof fails with '29000 != 2000'.

    The economics specialist's variant (20 dust buys, +3h) also reproduced: sellExtra 27000 != 0.

  • 2.highFirst observation is unclamped: one 1-wei/1-wei receipt seeds lastPrice at 1e6x the real price and poisons the TWAP for about two weekssrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:172

            if (lp != 0) {

    When lastPrice==0 (fresh deployment) _observe stores the receipt price with no bound. The first swap through the program, which can be a 1-wei exact-output buy, sets lastPrice=1e18 while the pool trades at 1e12. Each honest trade then lowers it by at most 10%, so getting back takes about 131 trades, and the cumulative meanwhile accrues at the inflated anchor.

    Sellers pay MAX_EXTRA during that whole period. This is a distinct root cause from the per-step clamp: even a time-based clamp would not protect the seed.

    Fix: seed the first observation from spotPrice(sqrtPriceX96) or require a minimum notional before the first observation is accepted.

    State: freshly deployed program.

    Input: first receipt amount0=-1, amount1=+1, then 48 hourly receipts amount0=-1e16, amount1=+1e22 (real 1e12).

    Expected: quote(false,-1e22,1000<<96,1e24)[5]==2000.

    Actual: lastPrice=6362685441135938, TWAP=207007773866430010, sellExtra=27000, a[5]=29000.

    Reproduced: the attached proof fails with '29000 != 2000', and its control test (honest history only) passes.

  • 3.mediumaveragePrice() walks up to 169 cold checkpoints: about 0.5M gas per sell quote, more than a bounded adapter quote budget once the TWAP becomes validsrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:116

            Checkpoint memory pick = checkpoints[idx];
            for (uint256 i = 0; i < n; i++) {
                Checkpoint memory c = checkpoints[idx];
                if (c.timestamp < cutoff) break;
                pick = c;
                idx = idx == 0 ? SLOTS - 1 : idx - 1;
            }

    Merged from 4 reports. averagePrice() scans the ring backwards one SLOAD per checkpoint and copies a memory struct on every iteration. quote() calls it for every sell (via sellExtra), and onTrade calls it through _maybeRelease->releasable. Measured with cold storage after 200 hourly receipts: sell quote 497,854 gas against 15,418 for a buy. The flow specialist reports that the live adapter forwards only 50,000 gas to quote() and falls back to a default plan on failure.

    With 24 or more checkpoints (needed for MIN_COVERAGE) the quote does not fit, so the dynamic extra is never applied and the module share drops. That 50k budget comes from external, on-chain code that is not in this repository, and I did not verify it independently; the gas cost itself is verified. If the budget is real, severity rises to high.

    Fix: binary-search the ring (timestamps are monotonic), or keep the oldest-in-window index up to date as checkpoints are written.

    State: 200 hourly receipts (count=192).

    Cold-storage quote(addr,false,-1e18,1000<<96,1e24,'') = 497,854 gas; buy quote = 15,418 (test_gasFullWindow).

    Attached proof: after 48 hourly receipts, a staticcall to quote with 50,000 gas (as the adapter is reported to make) fails, so the assertion 'quote must succeed within the adapter's 50k gas budget' fails.

    Expected: success, with a[5]=29000 at spot 15% below the TWAP.

  • 4.mediumFloor release is keyed on the single manipulable lastPrice: two dust sells release RELEASE_MAX to BURN_HOOK every hour while the pool price is unchangedsrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:152

            if (uint256(lastPrice) * 10000 >= twap * FLOOR_TRIGGER_BPS) return (0, twap);

    Merged from 4 reports. releasable() compares lastPrice, the clamped price of the last receipt, against 85% of the TWAP and never reads the pool spot. Two exact-input sells of 1,999,999 CLAUS-wei that each pay out 1 wei ETH are priced at about 0.5x spot and clamped to -10% each, so lastPrice becomes 0.81x the TWAP. _maybeRelease (inside onTrade, or through the permissionless releaseFloor) then moves min(floorReserve, 0.05 ETH) of ETH claims to BURN_HOOK.

    Repeating this every hour drains up to 1.2 ETH/day of the floor-defence reserve when there is no drawdown, at a time the attacker chooses. Funds go only to BURN_HOOK and are not stolen.

    Fix: base the trigger on pool spot or a short-window TWAP from the checkpoints, plus the minimum-notional and time-based-clamp fix from the oracle finding.

    State: 49 hourly receipts amount0=-1e16, amount1=+1e22, moduleFeeEth=0.01 ether (floorReserve=0.49 ETH, releasable()=0).

    Input: two receipts amount0=+1, amount1=-1999999 in the same block.

    Expected: no release, since spotPrice(1000<<96) is still 1e12.

    Actual: lastPrice=810000000000, floorReserve=0.44 ETH, BURN_HOOK claim balance +0.05 ETH.

    Reproduced in test/scratch/Misc.t.sol::test_dustSellsReleaseFloor (passes, asserting the defective behaviour).

  • 5.mediumfloorReserve has no exit once the oracle is stale (program replaced or 2 days without trades): reserved ETH claims are locked permanentlysrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:150

            (ok, twap) = averagePrice();
            if (!ok || twap == 0) return (0, 0);

    Merged from 2 reports. The only outflow of the program's ETH claims is _maybeRelease, which needs averagePrice() to succeed. That requires an observation within STALE_AFTER (2 days), and observations only arrive through onTrade from the governance-selected adapter.

    The base contract expects a later hook to be selected (ClausDrawFundingProgram line 58). After that, or after any 2-day gap, releasable() returns 0 forever, and there is no sweep, owner or stale-mode path. Even while the program is active, inflow above 0.05 ETH/hour, or any inflow while lastPrice >= 85% of the TWAP, keeps accumulating.

    Fixing this is a design decision, e.g. a permissionless stale-mode release of RELEASE_MAX per interval to BURN_HOOK.

    State: 49 hourly receipts with moduleFeeEth=0.1 ether (floorReserve=4.9 ETH, claim balance 4.9 ETH).

    Input: no further receipts; warp +2 days+1s, then +365 days; call releaseFloor().

    Expected: some path moves the reserve to BURN_HOOK.

    Actual: averagePrice()=(false,0), releaseFloor() returns 0, floorReserve and the claim balance stay 4.9 ETH.

    Reproduced in test/scratch/Misc.t.sol::test_reserveLockedWhenStale.

  • 6.lowOut-of-order receipt overwrites lastPrice without advancing lastTime, so a stale price is extrapolated from the newer timesrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:180

            lastPrice = uint128(price);

    Merged from 3 reports. onTrade only rejects timestamp > block.timestamp. When ts < lastTime, _observe correctly skips the cumulative and lastTime updates (lines 178-179) but still sets lastPrice. averagePrice() and releasable() then use the older receipt's price as if it were current. This is reachable if receipts can be delivered late or out of order; the flow specialist reports that delivery is permissionless and unordered, which I did not verify.

    Fix: return early from _observe (or revert in onTrade) when ts < lastTime.

    Receipts at T and T+1h (price 1e12), then a receipt with timestamp T+30min, amount0=-1e16, amount1=+2e22 (price 5e11).

    Actual: lastTime stays T+1h, cumulative unchanged, lastPrice=900000000000.

    Expected: lastPrice stays 1e12 or the receipt is rejected.

    Reproduced in test/scratch/Misc.t.sol::test_outOfOrderReceipt.

  • 7.lowlargeSellExtra multiplies liquidity*sqrtPriceX96 with checked arithmetic and can revert, blocking sell quotes instead of returning 0src/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:83

                ? uint256(liquidity) * uint256(sqrtPriceX96) >> 96

    liquidity (up to 2^128) times sqrtPriceX96 (up to 2^160) can exceed 2^256 and panics with 0x11. That breaks the documented 'unreadable => 0' behaviour, and the revert propagates through quote() for exact-input sells. It needs an extreme price/liquidity state, so it is an edge-case robustness issue.

    Fix: FullMath.mulDiv or an overflow check that returns 0.

    largeSellExtra(-1, 1<<130, 1<<127) reverts with Panic(0x11); largeSellExtra(1, 1<<130, 1<<127) returns 0. Reproduced in test/scratch/Misc.t.sol::test_largeSellExtraOverflow.

  • 8.lowDuring the draw window a receipt whose module share is below feeEth/1000 reverts in onTrade, so no observation is recorded and the trade is never deliveredsrc/ClausDrawFundingProgram.sol:51

                if (amount > remaining.moduleFeeEth) revert DrawFundingAllocationRequired();

    onTrade reverts with DrawFundingAllocationRequired instead of capping the draw contribution. If the adapter falls back to a plan with no program share (for example after quote() fails, see the gas finding), every receipt in the draw window reverts. The draw gets nothing, and the oracle and reserve miss the trade.

    That the host cannot retry such receipts comes from the flow specialist's on-chain reading and is not verified.

    Fix: amount = min(feeEth/1000, moduleFeeEth) plus a shortfall event, or document the revert as intended.

    DRAW window covers now (startedAt=now-1, endsAt=now+1d).

    Receipt feeEth=23e15, moduleFeeEth=0, amount0=-977e15, amount1=1e24.

    Actual: revert DrawFundingAllocationRequired.

    Reproduced in test/scratch/Misc.t.sol::test_drawWindowRevertsOnSmallModuleShare.

  • 9.lowLarge-sell surcharge is judged per swap and is avoided by splitting a sell below 0.5% of the virtual reservesrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:86

            return amt * 10000 > reserve * LARGE_SELL_BPS ? LARGE_SELL_EXTRA : 0;

    Merged from 2 reports. Nothing aggregates sold volume across swaps, so a router splitting a sell into sub-threshold chunks never pays LARGE_SELL_EXTRA. This is a soft deterrent: fix by aggregating per block or sender, or document the limitation.

    L=1e21, sqrtPriceX96=32<<96: largeSellExtra(-320e18,...)=10000, while largeSellExtra(-106e18,...)=0, so three chunks pay no surcharge. Reproduced in test/scratch/Misc.t.sol::test_splitSellAvoidsSurcharge.

  • 10.infoTrust assumptions: privileged roles and mutable dependencies that can change behaviour after reviewsrc/ClausDrawFundingProgram.sol:42

            if (msg.sender != authority.adapterFor(address(this)) || !authority.approvedAdapter(msg.sender))
                revert DrawFundingUnauthorized();

    Entry points: quote (view), onTrade (only the adapter that GOVERNANCE.adapterFor returns and approves; checks module==msg.sender, id unused, dataHash, timestamp<=now; the consumed flag is set before external calls, so reentrancy cannot double-deliver), and releaseFloor (permissionless, only to BURN_HOOK, capped). No owner, pause, upgrade, setter or recovery path.

    Trusted and mutable after review: GOVERNANCE (adapter selection), the adapter (sole source of amount0/amount1/moduleFeeEth/timestamp; moduleFeeEth is credited to floorReserve without checking the claim balance), DRAW (startedAt/endsAt read live), DRAW_FUNDING and BUY_HODL fund() (a revert blocks receipts in their windows), and BURN_HOOK (specialist-reported upgradeable proxy; released claims depend on its admin).

    The replay key is trade.id alone (not per adapter), so a replacement adapter that reuses ids would have those receipts rejected. sellExtra uses the sqrtPriceX96 passed to quote; if that is the pre-swap spot, a seller can raise it with a preceding buy. These on-chain properties come from specialist reports and were not independently verified.

    Not a defect. Example: if GOVERNANCE.adapterFor(program) returns X with approvedAdapter(X)=true, X can deliver amount0=1, amount1=1, moduleFeeEth=1e18 and the program sets lastPrice=1e18 and floorReserve+=1e18 with no cross-check.

    I found 5 issues in src/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol and wrote them to .imd-findings.json. The two worst both come from one flaw: the price oracle can be moved almost for free with dust trades.

    Coverage. I read all three source files in full: the entry file src/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol, its base src/ClausDrawFundingProgram.sol (quote, onTrade, caller checks, replay map, draw and Buy & Hodl forwarding), and src/IClausTradeProgram.sol. The repo has no tests, no foundry.toml and no lib/. I ran the PoCs in test/scratch/ using the forge-std copy already on the machine, passed in as a command-line remapping. No repository files were modified.

    #SeverityLocationFindingShown by
    1High:175 (price taken at :132)The price is computed from rounded swap amounts, and the ±10% limit applies per trade with no limit on trades per block. 20 trades of 1 wei ETH for 1 CLAUS-wei in one block push the last price to 6.7× the real price. Three hours later the TWAP is 1.33× the real price, so honest sellers pay the maximum extra fee (27000 pips, 2.7%) at an unchanged spot price. Cost to the attacker: about 20 wei plus gas.Fails on the current code, as intended (proof attached)
    2Medium:152The floor release compares only the single latest price with the TWAP. Two dust sells (1999 CLAUS-wei in, 1 wei ETH out) drop it to 81% of the TWAP and release 0.05 ETH to BURN_HOOK, with the pool price unchanged. This can be repeated every hour.Fails on the current code, as intended (proof attached)
    3Medium:148The reserve gets stuck permanently. Once trades stop reaching this program for 2 days (for example after governance replaces it), the oracle reads as stale forever and releaseFloor() always returns 0. There is no owner and no sweep or recovery path, so ETH claims of any kind held by the program stay there.Scratch test (4.9 ETH still locked after 365 days)
    4Low:118Once the 7-day window is full, the TWAP loop costs about 430–500k gas per sell quote and 510–580k per onTrade, partly because it allocates new memory on every iteration. This only blocks trades if the adapter caps gas below those figures. I couldn't check that because the adapter isn't in scope.Measured with forge
    5Low:86The 1% large-sell fee is avoided by splitting one sell into swaps each under 0.5% of the reserve.Scratch test

    Checked and fine:

    • Caller and receipt checks: onTrade only accepts the adapter that governance currently approves, and requires trade.module to match it.
    • Replay and timing: a receipt id can't be delivered twice, the data hash must match, and timestamps can't be in the future.
    • Failed release: if the ETH claim transfer fails, the reserve amount is restored.
    • Reentrancy: I found no path through the external calls.
    • Fee caps: the worst-case total fee allocation is 5.9%, under the 15% cap.
    • Quote floor: the quote's minimum share of 2000 pips always holds.

    Privileged roles and outside contracts that can change behaviour after review:

    • GOVERNANCE (0x180e…): decides which adapter may deliver trades. That adapter supplies the trade amounts and fee figures, and through them the oracle and the reserve.
    • DRAW: if its endsAt() or startedAt() calls revert, every quote and onTrade reverts.
    • DRAW_FUNDING.fund and BUY_HODL.fund: if either reverts during its window, trades revert.
    • BURN_HOOK: on-chain, at block 26330698, it is an upgradeable (EIP-1967) proxy. Its ProxyAdmin's owner() returns the zero address, so it can't currently be upgraded through that admin.
    • PoolManager: the standard Uniswap v4 address.

    Assumptions I could not verify:

    • Trade amounts: I treated a receipt's amount0/amount1 as the swap's actual balance change, since the adapter isn't in scope. Findings 1 and 2 depend on this.
    • Gas caps: whether the adapter l

    • highOracle price is taken from rounded dust-trade deltas and the 10% step clamp applies per observation, not per time, so 1-wei trades inflate the TWAP and force the max sell surcharge on honest sellerssrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:175

      _afterTrade (line 132) records price = |amount0|*1e18/|amount1| from each receipt, and _observe clamps it only to +/-10% of the previous observation (lines 173-175). Nothing limits how many observations a block or SLOT may hold, and nothing requires a minimum trade size. An exact-output buy of 1 CLAUS-wei costs 1 wei ETH (input rounds up), so it records price 1e18, about 1000x the real price at 1024 CLAUS/ETH, and is clamped to +10%.

      N such trades in one transaction compound to 1.1^N. The inflated lastPrice is extrapolated into cumulative until the next trade, and every later honest trade can only bring it down 10%. averagePrice() then sits far above the spot price, so sellExtra() charges MAX_EXTRA (2.7% of every sell) although the pool price never moved. This breaks the stated property ("sells pay an extra module share only while the spot CLAUS price is below its time-weighted average").

      The attacker spends roughly 20 wei plus the gas of 20 dust swaps; each honest seller pays up to 2.7% extra, which goes into floorReserve. Pushed the other way (dust sells, see the floor-release finding), the same flaw switches the surcharge off and fakes the floor signal.

      Assumption: Trade.amount0/amount1 are the swap's BalanceDelta, as the struct and the adapter's 'exact receipt' semantics imply. A v4 pool does not reject 1-unit exact-output swaps.

      Setup: adapter, DRAW and PoolManager mocked; timestamp 1.8e9, after the draw and BUY_HODL windows.

      Deliver 49 hourly honest receipts (amount0=1e18, amount1=-1024e18) => averagePrice()=976562500000000=spotPrice(32<<96), sellExtra=0.

      In one block deliver 20 receipts with amount0=1, amount1=-1 (1-CLAUS-wei exact-output buys). lastPrice becomes 6.727x the true price.

      Warp 3h with no other trade: TWAP = 1.330x true price.

      Expected sellExtra(32<<96) = 0 (spot unchanged); actual 27000 pips (MAX_EXTRA).

      Fix: derive the observation from the pool's post-swap sqrtPriceX96, or bound the change per elapsed time (e.g. per block or per SLOT relative to the last checkpoint rather than per receipt), and ignore receipts below a minimum notional.

      Two such receipts in one block take lastPrice to 0.81*TWAP. _maybeRelease inside the second onTrade, or anyone calling releaseFloor() afterwards, then moves RELEASE_MAX = 0.05 ETH of PoolManager ETH claims to BURN_HOOK. Nothing else is required, and it repeats every RELEASE_INTERVAL. The reserve is spent on buybacks when no floor defence is needed: up to 1.2 ETH/day and the whole reserve over time.

      Someone holding CLAUS can sell into the funded buybacks, and once real stress arrives the reserve is gone, which defeats the floor-defence purpose. The depressed lastPrice also drags the TWAP down and lowers sellExtra for later sellers.

      Deliver 49 hourly receipts alternating buy (1e18,-1024e18) and sell (-1e18,1024e18), each with moduleFeeEth=0.01 ether => floorReserve=0.49 ETH, TWAP=lastPrice=976562500000000, releasable()=0.

      Same block: deliver two sell receipts amount0=-1, amount1=1999, moduleFeeEth=0.

      Expected: no release (pool price = TWAP).

      Actual: lastPrice/TWAP = 8100 bps; PoolManager.transfer(BURN_HOOK,0,0.05 ether) executes and floorReserve drops 0.49 -> 0.44 ETH.

      Fix: gate release on a manipulation-resistant short-window average (e.g. 1h TWAP from checkpoints) or the pool spot price, not one receipt, together with the observation fix (minimum notional, per-time clamp).

    • mediumfloorReserve and any other ETH claims held by the program have no exit once the oracle goes stale (e.g. after the program is replaced): funds are permanently lockedsrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:148

      Every trade's remaining module share (buys included) is added to floorReserve. The only way PoolManager ETH claims leave the contract is _maybeRelease -> transfer to BURN_HOOK. That requires averagePrice() to succeed, which requires an observation within STALE_AFTER = 2 days, plus lastPrice < 85% of the TWAP.

      Observations only come from onTrade, which only governance's current adapter can call. The base contract expects a later hook to be selected; once governance points adapterFor elsewhere, or trading through this program stops for 2 days, averagePrice() returns (false,0) forever. releaseFloor() then returns 0 permanently and the whole reserve is stranded. There is no owner, sweep or recovery path, so claims sent to the program outside floorReserve are also unrecoverable.

      Even while the program is active, the reserve only drains when the price is more than 15% below the TWAP, and then at most 0.05 ETH/hour, so inflow beyond that accumulates without bound.

      Deliver 49 hourly receipts with moduleFeeEth=0.1 ether => floorReserve=4.9 ETH.

      Stop delivering receipts (program replaced). warp +2 days+1s: averagePrice() returns (false,0) and releaseFloor() returns 0. warp a further 365 days: releaseFloor() still returns 0 and floorReserve is still 4.9 ETH.

      The ETH claims cannot move.

      Expected: some path (a governance-gated sweep to a successor/treasury, or a release that works without a fresh oracle) lets the reserve leave.

      Verified in test/scratch/Misc.t.sol::test_reserveLockedWhenStale.

    • lowaveragePrice() costs ~430-500k gas (allocates two memory structs per iteration over up to 169 checkpoints) and runs in every sell quote and in onTradesrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:118

      Once the 7-day window is full of hourly checkpoints, the backward walk reads about 169 slots and, through 'Checkpoint memory c = checkpoints[idx]' and 'pick = c', allocates fresh memory on every iteration, so memory expansion grows quadratically. sellExtra() calls averagePrice() from quote() on every sell, and releasable() calls it from onTrade on every trade once an hour has passed since the last release. Every sell pays several hundred thousand extra gas.

      If the adapter calls quote/onTrade with a gas cap below these figures (the adapter's limits were not supplied, so this is an assumption), sells revert or quote fails once the window fills: an organic, time-based DoS. A binary search, or a stored index of the oldest in-window checkpoint, removes the loop.

      200 hourly receipts (count=192).

      Measured with forge (solc 0.8.27): quote(sell, -1e18, 32<<96, 1e24) = 498,013 gas unoptimized / 433,702 with --optimize 200 runs; onTrade sell receipt with the release check = 581,558 / 514,058 gas.

      With fewer than 24 checkpoints a quote costs a small fraction of this. test/scratch/Misc.t.sol::test_gasFullWindow.

    • lowLarge-sell surcharge is avoided by splitting one sell into several swaps under 0.5% of the virtual reservesrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:86

      largeSellExtra() judges each swap on its own against 0.5% of the in-range virtual reserve. Nothing aggregates across swaps by the same sender, transaction or block, so a seller (or router) splits a large sell into chunks just under the threshold and skips the 1% LARGE_SELL_EXTRA entirely, at the cost of a few extra swaps' gas. A CLAUS sell raises sqrtPriceX96 and reserve1 = L*sqrtP grows, so later chunks face an even larger threshold.

      The surcharge only falls on unsophisticated sellers.

      L=1e21, sqrtPriceX96=32<<96 => reserve1=32000e18 CLAUS, threshold 160e18. largeSellExtra(-320e18, 32<<96, 1e21) = 10000 (1% extra on the sell).

      The same 320e18 sold as three swaps of 106.67e18: largeSellExtra(-106e18, ...) = 0 for each, saving 1% of the ~0.3125 ETH proceeds (about 0.003125 ETH at 1024 CLAUS/ETH) for two extra swaps' gas.

      Fix: accumulate sold amount per block (or per sender per block) in transient/storage state and apply the surcharge on the cumulative amount, or accept and document it as a soft deterrent.

  3. Audit permissionsAgent #874found 2 medium, 3 low, 1 info

    Review complete. .imd-findings.json holds six findings, two of them with Foundry proofs that fail on the current code and pass under a candidate fix. No repository source or configuration file was changed.

    Coverage. I read all three files in scope: the entry file src/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol, its parent src/ClausDrawFundingProgram.sol, and src/IClausTradeProgram.sol. The program is a Claus trade hook with no owner, constructor, setter or upgrade path. Its two state-changing entry points are onTrade, callable only by the adapter that the constant GOVERNANCE authority names, and releaseFloor, callable by anyone. The parent enforces receipt binding (module equals caller, id unconsumed, dataHash matches, timestamp not in the future) and marks the id consumed before any external call, so I verified no replay, double delivery, future-dated receipt, or caller bypass. The external dependencies at the constant addresses (GOVERNANCE, DRAW, PoolManager, BURN_HOOK, draw and hodl funders) are not in the tree, so their behaviour is an assumption, stated per finding.

    Findings, by severity

    • Medium, oracle steering by dust trades. The 10% clamp in _observe is per observation with no time term, and the first observation is unclamped. Rounded dust swaps (1 wei buys, 2e6 wei sells) move lastPrice a full step each for about 1 wei. The proof shows honest sellers at an unchanged pool price quoted the full 2.7% extra after 72 wei of dust; the mirror lets a large seller erase a legitimate surcharge.
    • Medium, permissionless floor release keyed on that steerable price. Two dust sells push lastPrice to 0.81x the average, below the 85% trigger, and 0.05 ETH of reserve is pushed to the burn hook while the pool is flat. Repeatable every hour by anyone.
    • Low, out-of-order receipts. A receipt older than lastTime is accepted and overwrites lastPrice with a stale value. Trigger depends on the adapter's delivery order.
    • Low, gas. A sell quote with a full 7-day window costs about 500k gas, and every onTrade after a failed release repeats the scan.
    • Low, replay key. Consumption is tracked by id alone, so after an adapter rotation a reused id is rejected forever.
    • Info, trust assumptions. The adapter is fully trusted for every receipt field, GOVERNANCE can swap the adapter at will, DRAW is read live, and there is no recovery path for claims held by the program.

    Not verified. Whether the adapter forwards raw swap deltas for dust swaps, caps gas on quote, delivers receipts in order, or numbers them globally. The burn hook's handling of pushed claims is also outside the tree. Proof tests live under test/scratch/ and were run from a scratch Foundry project outside the repository with forge-std v1.9.6.

    • mediumPrice observations are steerable by dust trades: the 10% clamp is per observation, not per unit time, and the first observation is unclampedsrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:173

      _afterTrade feeds _observe with the raw ratio amount0*1e18/amount1 of every receipt, and _observe accepts any ratio as long as it is within +/-10% of lastPrice (MAX_STEP_BPS). The clamp is applied per observation with no time dimension, and when lastPrice == 0 (first trade after deployment) there is no clamp at all.

      Any trader can produce receipts whose ratio is wildly off the pool price at near-zero cost because Uniswap rounds swap amounts: an exact-output buy of 1 wei CLAUS costs 1 wei ETH (ratio 1e18, about 1e6x the true 1e12), and an exact-input sell of 2e6 wei CLAUS pays out 1 wei ETH instead of 1.99 (ratio 5e11, half the true price).

      Each such receipt moves lastPrice by the full 10% step and several can land in one block. averagePrice() extrapolates lastPrice to now and sellExtra() compares the pool spot against that average, so the surcharge paid by honest sellers is controlled by whoever last spammed dust, in either direction. Trust-gap seam (economics x asymmetry): quote() prices the sell against an average that unprivileged counter-parties steer, while the pool price itself has not moved.

      Impact: (a) griefing: all sellers pay the full MAX_EXTRA (2.7%) on top of base while the pool is flat; (b) surcharge evasion: a large seller who should pay up to 2.7% extra because spot < TWAP spams dust sells for a while to pull lastPrice and then the average down to or below spot and sells with zero extra, costing the floor reserve up to 2.7% of the sale; (c) the deployment-phase variant: the first receipt after activation sets the baseline unbounded, so a 1 wei / 1 wei buy anchors lastPrice at 1e18 and the next ~130 real trades are needed to walk it back at 10% each.

      Verified in the attached test: after 2 days of hourly trades at a constant 1e12 price, one day in which each honest hourly trade is followed by three 1-wei buys leaves lastPrice at 8.47e13 and sellExtra at the unchanged spot returns 27000 (MAX_EXTRA). Cost to the attacker: 72 wei plus gas.

      Assumption: the adapter reports the swap deltas as amount0/amount1 for every swap, including dust swaps (the contract has no minimum size). Minimal fix preserving the design: scale the permitted step by elapsed time since lastTime (e.g. MAX_STEP_BPS * (ts - lastTime) / SLOT, capped, so a same-second observation cannot move lastPrice), ignore observations below a minimum ETH notional, and apply the clamp (or require a minimum notional) for the first observation too.

      State: program active, 2 days of hourly receipts at amount0=1e18, amount1=-1e24 (price 1e12), sqrtPriceX96 = 2^96*1000 (spotPrice == 1e12), sellExtra(sqrtP) == 0.

      Input: for 24 hours, after each honest hourly receipt, the adapter delivers three receipts with buy=true, amount0=-1, amount1=1 (ratio 1e18).

      Expected: an honest seller at the unchanged pool price is quoted no extra (sellExtra == 0).

      Actual: lastPrice == 84693688740042, averagePrice() is far above spot, sellExtra(sqrtP) == 27000, so every sell is charged the full 2.7% extra.

      Mirror input (amount0=1, amount1=-2000000 sells) moves lastPrice down 10% per receipt and lets a large seller escape a legitimate surcharge.

      releasable() decides whether to push RELEASE_MAX of the floor reserve to BURN_HOOK by comparing lastPrice (the clamped ratio of the most recent receipt, see the previous finding) against the TWAP, never the pool's sqrtPriceX96.

      Two exact-input sells of 2e6 wei CLAUS each produce a receipt ratio of 5e11 (half the true 1e12 because the 1.99 wei ETH output rounds down to 1 wei); each is clamped to -10%, so lastPrice becomes 0.81x the TWAP, below FLOOR_TRIGGER_BPS (85%). _maybeRelease() runs inside onTrade for the second dust receipt and transfers 0.05 ETH of claims to BURN_HOOK; releaseFloor() is external with no caller check, so anyone can repeat the pair of dust sells once per RELEASE_INTERVAL and empty the reserve at 1.2 ETH per day while the real price is flat.

      Trust-gap seam (access x economics): the trigger is open to everyone and the only guard is a value that unprivileged traders set for 2 wei.

      Impact: the floor-defense reserve is spent on buybacks at times chosen by the attacker rather than during a real drawdown, so it is empty when the mechanism is supposed to act; the attacker can also position before each forced buyback. Funds are not stolen (BURN_HOOK is the only recipient), which bounds this at medium.

      Verified in the attached test: after 2 days of funded trades (floorReserve 0.098 ETH) two receipts with amount0=1, amount1=-2000000 push lastPrice to 810000000000 and 0.05 ETH is transferred to BURN_HOOK with the pool price unchanged.

      Minimal fix: the time-based clamp from the previous finding removes the same-block steering; in addition base the release decision on a price the pool itself reports (or on a minimum observed ETH volume since the last release) rather than on lastPrice alone.

      State: 49 hourly receipts at amount0=1e18, amount1=-1e24 with moduleFeeEth=0.002 ether each (floorReserve = 0.098 ETH, lastPrice == TWAP == 1e12, releasable() == 0).

      Input: the adapter delivers two sell receipts with amount0=1, amount1=-2000000 (any caller can produce these by swapping 2e6 wei CLAUS twice), then anyone calls releaseFloor().

      Expected: no release, because the pool price has not moved.

      Actual: lastPrice == 810000000000 < 0.85 * TWAP, 50000000000000000 wei of ETH claims are transferred to BURN_HOOK (inside onTrade already), floorReserve drops by 0.05 ETH, and the same two swaps repeat the release every hour.

    • lowReceipts older than the last observation are accepted and overwrite lastPrice with a stale pricesrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:180

      onTrade only rejects receipts with trade.timestamp > block.timestamp; a receipt whose timestamp is earlier than lastTime is accepted.

      In _observe the cumulative and lastTime updates are correctly skipped when ts < lastTime, but lastPrice is unconditionally overwritten with the stale (clamped) price, and a checkpoint can still be written when ts >= latest.timestamp + SLOT. lastPrice is then extrapolated forward by averagePrice() and used by releasable(), so a late receipt rewinds the oracle to an older price.

      Asymmetry: the time-ordered fields (lastTime, cumulative) are guarded against out-of-order delivery while the price field is not. Whether an unprivileged party can trigger this depends on the adapter's delivery order (not in scope); if receipts can be delivered or retried out of order, any trader can choose which stale price survives. Not verified beyond the direct call.

      Fix: return early from _observe when ts < lastTime (or require ts >= lastTime in onTrade).

      State: receipt A (amount0=1e18, amount1=-1e24, ts=T0) then receipt B (amount0=2e18, amount1=-1e24, ts=T0+2h), giving lastPrice 1.1e12 and lastTime T0+2h.

      Input: receipt C with amount0=1e18, amount1=-1e24, timestamp T0+1h delivered at T0+2h (passes the trade.timestamp > block.timestamp check).

      Expected: C is ignored or rejected because it predates the last observation.

      Actual: lastPrice becomes 1000000000000 while lastTime stays T0+2h, so the oracle extrapolates the older price from now on (reproduced in test/scratch/Measure.t.sol test_outOfOrderReceipt).

    • lowaveragePrice() walks up to 169 cold checkpoint slots: a sell quote costs about 500k gas once the window is full, and every onTrade that re-checks a failed release pays it againsrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:117

      averagePrice() linearly scans the ring buffer from head backwards until it leaves the 7-day window, reading one storage slot per checkpoint. With hourly checkpoints the window holds 168 entries plus one, so each call does ~169 cold SLOADs. quote() calls it for every sell (via sellExtra) and onTrade calls it (via _maybeRelease -> releasable) whenever floorReserve > 0 and RELEASE_INTERVAL has elapsed.

      Measured in the scratch suite after 200 hourly receipts: quote for a sell 500510 gas, quote for a buy 15599 gas, onTrade with the release check 596992 gas. If the adapter or hook forwards a bounded gas stipend to quote (not visible in scope) sells revert and the pool is sell-DoSed once history fills; otherwise every seller pays roughly half a million extra gas forever.

      Compounding case: when the claim transfer in _maybeRelease fails, lastRelease is reset to 0, so every subsequent trade repeats the 169-slot scan and the failing external call.

      Fix: binary-search the ring buffer (timestamps are monotonic per checkpoint), or keep a running index of the oldest in-window checkpoint updated on write.

      State: 192 checkpoints written (200 hourly receipts), block.timestamp 8 days after the first.

      Input: quote(sender, false, -1e18, 2^96*1000, 1e24, "").

      Expected: a view quote costing a few tens of thousands of gas like the buy path (15599).

      Actual: 500510 gas; onTrade with a pending release check 596992 gas (test/scratch/Measure.t.sol test_quoteGasFullWindow).

    • lowReplay guard is keyed by trade.id alone, so after an adapter rotation a new adapter's receipt that reuses an old id is rejected foreversrc/ClausDrawFundingProgram.sol:46

      onTrade binds the receipt to msg.sender (trade.module == msg.sender) but records consumption only by trade.id. GOVERNANCE can change adapterFor(program) at any time (mutable dependency). If a replacement adapter numbers its receipts independently, any id it reuses collides with the consumed map and reverts with DrawFundingInvalidReceipt, so that trade's fees are never delivered to the draw, Buy & Hodl or the floor reserve.

      This is a liveness defect that only appears across the privileged rotation; whether ids are globally unique across adapters is not visible in scope, so this is reported as low with that assumption.

      Fix: key the consumed map by (msg.sender, trade.id), e.g. mapping(address => mapping(uint256 => bool)).

      State: adapter A has delivered id 7 (drawReceiptConsumed[7] == true).

      GOVERNANCE.adapterFor(program) now returns adapter B and approvedAdapter(B) is true.

      Input: B calls onTrade with a valid receipt whose id is 7 and module == B.

      Expected: accepted, since it is a different adapter's first receipt 7.

      Actual: revert DrawFundingInvalidReceipt at line 44 because drawReceiptConsumed[7] is already set; the receipt can never be delivered.

    • infoPrivileged roles and mutable dependencies that can change behaviour after review (trust assumptions, not bypasses)src/ClausDrawFundingProgram.sol:42

      Entry-point inventory: onTrade (contract-only: msg.sender must equal GOVERNANCE.adapterFor(this) and be approvedAdapter), releaseFloor (public, unrestricted, bounded to RELEASE_MAX per hour to BURN_HOOK), quote (view). No constructor, owner, pause, upgrade, or setter exists; all addresses are constants.

      Verified: no path lets any caller direct claims to an arbitrary address, replay a receipt id, deliver a receipt with a future timestamp, or deliver a receipt with a mismatched dataHash or module; drawReceiptConsumed is set before any external call, so reentrancy through DRAW_FUNDING.fund/BUY_HODL.fund/PoolManager.transfer cannot double-deliver.

      Roles and dependencies that remain trusted and can change behaviour after review: (1) GOVERNANCE (0x180e...e334) selects which adapter may call onTrade at any time; (2) the adapter is fully trusted for every Trade field: amount0/amount1 are the only oracle input, moduleFeeEth is credited to floorReserve without checking the program's actual ERC6909 claim balance, timestamp and id are unchecked except upper bound and uniqueness; (3) DRAW (startedAt/endsAt) is read live in quote and onTrade, so a change there alters both the quote revert condition and the draw share; (4) POOL_MANAGER ERC6909 transfer semantics (return value honoured, revert caught only in _maybeRelease, not in the draw/hodl forwarding which reverts the whole receipt); (5) BURN_HOOK must account for claims pushed to it by transfer, otherwise released ETH is stranded there (not verifiable in scope); (6) DRAW_FUNDING/BUY_HODL fund() are external calls made after the claim transfer and before _afterTrade.

      Custody and recovery: the program holds the remaining module share as ERC6909 claims with no recovery or sweep path; the only exit is the floor release to BURN_HOOK. If BURN_HOOK is deprecated or the trigger never fires, the reserve is locked permanently (intended per the brief: treasury and user claims are not delegated).

      Concrete state illustrating the dependency: GOVERNANCE.adapterFor(program) returns a new address X and approvedAdapter(X) is true; X can then deliver any Trade values (for example amount0=1, amount1=1 with moduleFeeEth = 1e18) and the program credits floorReserve by 1e18 and sets lastPrice to 1e18 without any on-chain cross-check. Expected under the stated trust model: this is the authorised adapter's prerogative; it is listed so the roles that can change behaviour post-review are explicit.

  4. Audit flowAgent #1431found 3 high, 2 medium, 3 low, 1 info

    Review complete. The findings file holds 9 findings, 4 with failing Foundry proofs under test/scratch/.

    Files read. The entry file src/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol in full, plus its two imports, the base ClausDrawFundingProgram and IClausTradeProgram. I also read the verified mainnet sources of the runtime callers the base contract hardcodes: the governance factory, the per-program adapter, the trade extension host, the burn hook proxy and implementation, and the draw hook. Two funding targets are not verified anywhere, so their behavior is listed as a coverage gap.

    What the program does. It quotes a six-way fee split for each swap, adds a sell surcharge when spot is below a self-built TWAP of observed execution prices, and on each delivered receipt records a price observation, keeps the leftover module share as a floor reserve, and releases that reserve to the burn hook in capped hourly slices when the last price falls under 85% of the TWAP.

    Findings, by severity:

    • High, quote gas. The live adapter forwards 50,000 gas and silently falls back to a default plan on failure. The TWAP loop costs about 92k gas once it has the one day of hourly checkpoints it needs, so the dynamic fee never applies through the real path, the program receives zero claims, and during the live draw window those receipts become permanently undeliverable.
    • High, dust oracle. Observations are clamped per receipt with no size floor. Twenty 1-wei exact-output buys lift the last price 6.7x and push every seller to the maximum extra for hours.
    • High, stranded reserve. The reserve's only exit requires a receipt within two days. Once governance installs the next program, the reserve is locked forever with no sweep or owner.
    • Medium. The release trigger reads a single last price, so two dust sells release 0.05 ETH per hour at the wrong time. Separately, the base contract reverts rather than capping the draw share, which strands receipts.
    • Low and info. Surcharge bypass by splitting, same-block spot bypass, out-of-order receipt overwrite, and a trust inventory. The burn hook is an upgradeable proxy, and the operator can retire the module at will.

    Verification notes. All four proofs fail on the current code for the stated reasons. Gas numbers come from a cold-storage harness mirroring the adapter's exact staticcall. On-chain reads used the local chain 1 endpoint. The assumption that the sealed hook accepts 1-wei swaps is stated in the findings rather than proven, since the legacy fee hook was not reviewed line by line. No source files were changed, and build artifacts were removed.

    • highquote() exceeds the adapter's 50,000-gas budget once the TWAP is valid, so the dynamic sell fee is never applied and the program silently degrades to a zero-share default plansrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:117

      averagePrice() (lines 108-126) is called from _quote() -> sellExtra() on every sell quote and walks the checkpoint ring back from head until it finds a checkpoint older than the 7-day window. Each iteration is a cold SLOAD (~2,100 gas).

      The live call path is ProtectedHook._beforeSwapExtension -> TradeExtensionHost.quote (staticcall 80,000 gas to the adapter) -> ComputeProtectedProgram.quote, which forwards exactly staticcall(50000, program, ...) and returns its hard-coded defaults() plan whenever the inner call fails or returns the wrong size (verified from the sourcify-verified sources of the governance factory 0x180eAE78... and the hook implementation 0xa62f9b59... on chain 1).

      Measured in a Foundry harness with all slots cold: 1 checkpoint = 26k gas, 8 = 46k, 16 = 68k, 24 = 92k, 48 = 159k, 168 = 493k. MIN_COVERAGE = 1 day means the TWAP is only usable once the oldest in-window checkpoint is >= 24h old; with one checkpoint per SLOT (1 hour) that is >= 24 checkpoints, i.e. >= 92k gas, so in any regime where the oracle is valid the quote cannot fit in 50k and the extra sell share is never charged through the real hook path.

      Worse, the fallback plan is [12000,3000,1500,2000,3500,1000]: the module share becomes compute only (1000 pips), ComputeProtectedProgram.onTrade transfers programFee = 0 to this program, so floorReserve never grows, and during the live draw window (DRAW.startedAt()=1793462739, endsAt()=1794067539 read on chain) ClausDrawFundingProgram.onTrade line 51 reverts (feeEth/1000 > 0 == moduleFeeEth), making every such receipt permanently undeliverable via TradeExtensionHost.execute.

      The same loop runs again in _afterTrade -> _maybeRelease -> releasable for every delivered receipt (onTrade gas is caller-chosen up to 5M there, so that path only costs money).

      Fix: make averagePrice O(1)/O(log n) within the budget, e.g. binary-search the ring for the cutoff (<= 8 reads), or maintain a per-slot window index so the oldest in-window checkpoint is read directly; keep the result under ~40k gas including the DRAW.endsAt() call in ClausDrawFundingProgram.quote.

      State: 48 hourly sell receipts at a constant price (1e12 wei per 1e18 CLAUS) have been delivered, so averagePrice() returns (true, 1e12).

      Input: staticcall quote(sender, buy=false, amountSpecified=-1e18, sqrtPriceX96 = 1000*2^96 * 1.08466 (spot 15% below TWAP), liquidity=1e24, data='') with 50,000 gas from a fresh transaction (cold storage), exactly as ComputeProtectedProgram.quote does.

      Expected: success with allocation[5] = 2000 + 27000 = 29000.

      Actual: the call runs out of gas (needs ~92k), the adapter returns defaults() with a[5] = 1000, the seller pays no extra and the program receives 0 ETH claims for the trade.

    • highPrice observations are clamped per receipt, not per time, and accept 1-wei trades: ~20 dust swaps move lastPrice 6.7x and force every seller to pay MAX_EXTRA (or misfire the floor release)src/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:132

      _afterTrade observes price = |amount0|*1e18/|amount1| for any receipt with both deltas non-zero (line 132). _observe (lines 169-188) limits each observation to +-10% of lastPrice but there is no notional minimum and the limit is per observation, so N receipts in one block move lastPrice by 1.1^N or 0.9^N.

      The receipts are the hook's real pool deltas: an exact-output buy of 1 CLAUS-wei costs ceil(1e-6 wei) = 1 wei of ETH, so amount0=-1, amount1=1 and the observed price is 1e18 (clamped to +10%); a sell of ~2e6 CLAUS-wei returns floor(1.99) = 1 wei, i.e. half the pool price (clamped to -10%).

      Each dust swap costs only gas (fees on 1 wei round to 0). averagePrice() then extrapolates lastPrice from lastTime to now (line 111) and honest trades only pull lastPrice back by 10% each, so after a 20-trade burst the manipulated price is accrued into cumulative for ~19 honest trades (~58 price-hours vs 19 honest).

      Consequences: (a) with spot unchanged, sellExtra() returns MAX_EXTRA for hours to days, so every seller pays up to +2.7% (+1.0% largeSellExtra) into floorReserve - a direct loss to sellers and a gain to holders/the attacker who later triggers buybacks; (b) the opposite burst (dust sells) pushes lastPrice below 85% of TWAP and fires _maybeRelease (see the separate finding); (c) TradeExtensionHost.execute is permissionless and unordered, so an attacker also chooses which pending receipt is delivered last and becomes lastPrice (line 180 overwrites lastPrice even when ts < lastTime).

      Assumption stated: the sealed hook accepts 1-wei exact-output swaps (nothing in the verified ProtectedHook/TradeExtensionHost sources rejects them; FeeEfficientHook was not fully reviewed).

      Fix: ignore observations below a notional floor (e.g. amount0 < 1e13 wei), bound the step by elapsed time since lastTime (e.g. 10% per hour, 0% within the same second), and/or clamp observations to the pool's own sqrtPriceX96-derived price rather than to the previous observation.

      State: 72 hourly honest sells at 1e12 wei/1e18 CLAUS; averagePrice() = (true, 1e12); sellExtra(sqrtP for 1e12) = 0.

      Input: deliver 20 receipts {buy:true, amount0:-1, amount1:1, feeEth:0, moduleFeeEth:0} in one block (each a real 1-wei exact-output buy), then wait 3 hours with the pool price unchanged.

      Expected: sellExtra(1000*2^96) stays ~0 because the market did not move.

      Actual: lastPrice = 1e121.1^20 = 6.73e12, TWAP = (721e12 + 3*6.73e12)/75 = 1.229e12, deficit 18.6% >= 15%, sellExtra returns 27000 pips: every sell is charged the maximum extra.

    • highfloorReserve has no outflow once receipts stop: after the host installs the next program the TWAP is permanently stale and every reserved ETH claim is locked foreversrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:151

      The only path that moves floorReserve is _maybeRelease() -> releasable(), which requires averagePrice() to succeed (line 151) and averagePrice() returns false whenever block.timestamp > lastTime + STALE_AFTER (2 days, line 110). lastTime only advances in _observe(), i.e. only through onTrade from the single adapter ClausGovernance.createAdapter() binds to this program.

      The design explicitly expects replacement ('after a later hook is selected', ClausDrawFundingProgram.sol line 58; the on-chain host already runs its Nth program), and after TradeExtensionHost.setModule points at the next program no new receipt can ever be recorded for this one. From that moment releasable() returns 0 forever, releaseFloor() is a no-op, and there is no owner, sweep, stale-mode release or any other function that can move the program's ERC-6909 ETH claims.

      Even while active the reserve only drains at RELEASE_MAX = 0.05 ETH per hour and only when lastPrice < 85% of TWAP, so most of what sells pay in (0.2%-6% of sell volume) is still inside the program at retirement.

      Fix (design decision needed): add a permissionless stale-mode path, e.g. if block.timestamp > lastTime + STALE_AFTER + 7 days then releaseFloor() may transfer min(floorReserve, RELEASE_MAX) to BURN_HOOK per RELEASE_INTERVAL regardless of price, or a one-shot sweep to BURN_HOOK once the host's activeModule no longer maps to this program.

      State: 48 hourly sells each leaving 0.01 ETH of module share, so floorReserve = 0.48 ETH and PoolManager.balanceOf(program, 0) = 0.48 ETH; then the host switches module and 30 days pass with no receipt (lastTime frozen).

      Input: anyone calls releaseFloor() (or releasable()).

      Expected: the reserve can still be moved toward its only destination, the burn hook.

      Actual: averagePrice() returns (false,0) because block.timestamp > lastTime + 2 days, releasable() = (0,0), releaseFloor() returns 0, floorReserve stays 0.48 ETH permanently and BURN_HOOK's claim balance stays 0.

    • mediumreleasable() fires on the single last execution price, so two dust sells release 0.05 ETH of the reserve per hour to the burn hook while the pool price is unchangedsrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:152

      releasable() compares lastPrice, the most recent observed execution price, against 85% of the TWAP (line 152). lastPrice is set by every receipt (line 180) with only a +-10% per-receipt clamp and no size minimum.

      A sell of ~2e6 CLAUS-wei at 1e6 CLAUS/ETH returns floor(1.99 wei) = 1 wei, so the observed price is ~0.5x the pool price and is clamped to 0.9x; two such receipts put lastPrice at 0.81x TWAP < 0.85x. _maybeRelease() runs inside _afterTrade for every delivered receipt and in the permissionless releaseFloor(), so the second dust delivery itself transfers min(floorReserve, 0.05 ETH) of claims to BURN_HOOK and sets lastRelease.

      Repeating the two dust sells every RELEASE_INTERVAL drains the floor-defense reserve into buybacks at times the floor condition does not hold (1.2 ETH/day), defeating the stated purpose and letting a dumper time buyback liquidity against their own sell. Because BURN_HOOK is a TransparentUpgradeableProxy (admin 0x1f22E4B0..., verified on chain), released claims also become subject to that upgrade authority.

      Fix: evaluate the trigger on the pool's own spot (sqrtPriceX96 passed to quote, or read via the hook) versus TWAP, or require the deficit to persist (e.g. TWAP of the last hour below 85% of the 7-day TWAP), and apply the same observation minimum as the oracle fix.

      State: 48 hourly honest sells at 1e12 with 0.01 ETH module share each (floorReserve = 0.48 ETH, TWAP = 1e12, releasable() = (0,0)).

      Input: deliver two receipts {buy:false, amount0:1, amount1:-2000000, feeEth:0, moduleFeeEth:0} (real sells of 2e6 CLAUS-wei paid 1 wei each).

      Expected: pool price unchanged, no release.

      Actual: lastPrice = 1e120.90.9 = 0.81e12 < 0.85e12; the second onTrade calls _maybeRelease, floorReserve drops to 0.43 ETH and PoolManager.transfer(BURN_HOOK, 0, 0.05 ether) is executed; FloorReleased(0.05e18, 0.81e12, 1e12) is emitted.

    • mediumReceipts whose module share is below feeEth/1000 during the draw window revert in onTrade and become permanently undeliverable instead of skipping the draw contributionsrc/ClausDrawFundingProgram.sol:51

      ClausDrawFundingProgram.onTrade computes amount = trade.feeEth / 1000 and reverts with DrawFundingAllocationRequired when amount > remaining.moduleFeeEth (line 51).

      The module share of a receipt is decided by the adapter's quote, which falls back to its defaults() plan (module share = 1000 pips, all consumed by compute) whenever this program's quote fails or runs out of its 50,000-gas budget; ComputeProtectedProgram.onTrade then forwards programFee = 0 and the inner call reverts, TradeExtensionHost.execute reverts with ModuleExecutionFailed and the receipt stays in pending forever.

      No one, including governance, can deliver it later, so no observation is recorded and the draw gets nothing for the trade although the hook already charged the full 2.3%. The quote-side guard on line 36 cannot prevent this because a reverting quote is exactly what selects the fallback plan.

      Fix: in onTrade, cap the draw contribution at remaining.moduleFeeEth (amount = min(feeEth/1000, moduleFeeEth)) and continue, emitting a shortfall event, instead of reverting.

      State: now is inside the draw window (on chain: DRAW.startedAt()=1793462739, endsAt()=1794067539; block.timestamp 1793665974 at review time).

      Input: deliver a receipt with feeEth = 23e15 (2.3% of a 1 ETH buy), moduleFeeEth = 0 (the adapter's default-plan outcome), buy = true, amount0 = -977e15, amount1 = 1e24.

      Expected: the receipt is accepted, observation recorded, draw funded with whatever share exists.

      Actual: amount = 23e12 > 0 -> revert DrawFundingAllocationRequired; through the host the receipt can never be executed.

    • lowlargeSellExtra is evaluated per swap, so any large sell avoids the +1.0% surcharge by splitting into sub-0.5% chunks in the same transactionsrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:86

      The surcharge applies only when one swap's input exceeds 0.5% of the in-range virtual reserve (lines 77-87). The hook quotes each swap independently and nothing in this program or the host aggregates volume per sender, block or window, so a router/multicall that splits a 2% sell into five 0.4% sells pays no surcharge at the cost of a few swaps' gas.

      Fix: track sold notional per sender (or per pool) within a rolling window in _afterTrade and apply the surcharge to the cumulative amount, or accept and document that the surcharge is advisory.

      State: liquidity L = 1e24, sqrtPriceX96 = 10002^96, so reserve1 = LsqrtP>>96 = 1e27 CLAUS-wei; TWAP == spot so sellExtra = 0.

      Input A: quote(sell, amountSpecified = -1e25 (1% of reserve1)) -> a[5] = 2000 + 10000 = 12000 pips.

      Input B: five quotes with amountSpecified = -2e24 each (0.2%) in one transaction -> a[5] = 2000 pips every time; same total sold, 1.0% of 1e25 CLAUS-wei saved.

    • lowsellExtra compares the pre-swap spot with the TWAP, so a seller can lift the spot above TWAP with a small same-block buy and then sell without the extrasrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:94

      The sqrtPriceX96 passed to quote is read by TradeExtensionHost.quote from getSlot0 before the swap, and the extra is 0 whenever spot >= twap (line 94). The deficit that drives the fee is therefore a single-block spot value the seller controls: a buy that moves the pool back to the TWAP, followed by the sell, pays the base rate on both legs.

      This is profitable whenever the extra saved on the sell exceeds the base fee plus slippage on the restoring buy, i.e. for small deficits (a 2% deficit needs a ~1% buy of in-range reserve and saves 0.36% on an arbitrarily larger sell).

      Fix: base the deficit on the execution price of the sell itself (post-swap price available in afterSwap) or on a short recent-trade average rather than the instantaneous pre-swap spot; at minimum document the bypass.

      State: TWAP = 1e12, spot = 0.98e12 (deficit 2%), so a 100 ETH-notional sell is quoted sellExtra = 27000*200/1500 = 3600 pips (0.36 ETH).

      Input: same transaction, first a buy that moves spot to >= 1e12 (about 1% of in-range reserve, ~1 ETH at 2.3%), then the 100 ETH sell.

      Expected per the design: the sell pays 0.36 ETH extra.

      Actual: quote sees spot >= twap and returns a[5] = 2000; the extra is 0 and the seller nets ~0.33 ETH.

    • lowReceipts never expire and are delivered permissionlessly in any order; a late or out-of-order receipt overwrites lastPrice without advancing lastTimesrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:180

      ClausDrawFundingProgram.onTrade only rejects trade.timestamp > block.timestamp; TradeExtensionHost.execute lets anyone deliver any pending receipt at any time and in any order. _observe handles ts < lastTime by skipping the cumulative and lastTime updates (lines 178-179) but still overwrites lastPrice (line 180) and may clamp against the newer price, so the price used for extrapolation (line 111) and for the release trigger (line 152) is that of whichever receipt was delivered last, not the most recent trade.

      Fix: ignore observations with ts < lastTime (or ts older than STALE_AFTER), or only update lastPrice when ts >= lastTime.

      State: lastTime = T, lastPrice = 1e12.

      Two receipts recorded at T-1h (price 0.95e12) and T (price 1e12) are both pending.

      Input: deliver the T receipt first, then the T-1h receipt.

      Expected: lastPrice remains 1e12 (the latest trade).

      Actual: after the second delivery lastPrice = 0.95e12 while lastTime stays T; averagePrice() extrapolates 0.95e12 and releasable() evaluates 0.95e12 against TWAP.

    • infoTrust assumptions and mutable dependencies that can change behaviour after reviewsrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:36

      Verified on chain 1 at block 0x191c650:

      1. BURN_HOOK 0x37Bfb8AC... is an OpenZeppelin TransparentUpgradeableProxy (EIP-1967 implementation 0xa62f9b59..., admin 0x1f22E4B0...); the admin can change how released ETH claims are spent, so floor releases are only as safe as that key.
      2. Receipt authority: ClausGovernance (0x180eAE78...) creates exactly one immutable adapter per program (createAdapter is permissionless but one-shot), and ComputeProtectedProgram pins this program's codehash; the governance operator (0xab716305...) can install or replace the module via TradeExtensionHost.setModule at any time, which ends receipt flow to this program (see the stranded-reserve finding). The founder key can replace the operator.
      3. The adapter forwards 50,000 gas to quote and falls back to a default plan on failure; TradeExtensionHost.execute lets anyone deliver receipts with a caller-chosen gas limit (10k-5M); the program's onTrade therefore runs with attacker-chosen gas but reverts atomically on failure (retryable).
      4. DRAW 0xF54c2f80... (ClausFreeDrawHook, verified) has a sponsor-set startedAt (one-shot) and endsAt = startedAt + ROUND_COUNT*ROUND_SECONDS; DRAW_FUNDING 0x8b2247B8... and BUY_HODL 0x21596C85... are NOT verified on Sourcify/Blockscout; fund(1) from an arbitrary caller reverts with InsufficientBacking() (0x40db7f87), consistent with transfer-then-fund, but their full behaviour (e.g. a future revert after their window) could not be reviewed and a reverting fund() would make receipts in that window undeliverable.
      5. POOL_MANAGER is the immutable Uniswap v4 PoolManager; its ERC-6909 transfer has no receiver callback, so _maybeRelease's try/catch has no reentrancy surface.
      6. The program has no owner, pause or rescue; drawReceiptConsumed plus the host's pending map give replay protection; dataHash binding and msg.sender == adapter checks were verified.
      7. Reentrancy: all state writes in onTrade happen before the external fund()/transfer calls except floorReserve/lastRelease, which are restored on failure; execute() holds a transient busy flag so onTrade cannot be re-entered through the host.

      Not a defect; documents the privileged roles (burn-hook proxy admin, governance operator, founder, draw sponsor) and unverified dependencies (DRAW_FUNDING, BUY_HODL) whose changes would alter this program's behaviour after review.

  5. Audit mathAgent #211found 2 high, 1 medium, 2 low, 1 info

    The review is complete. The findings file holds six entries, three of them with Foundry proofs that fail on the current code for the stated reason. No tracked file was changed.

    Files read. The entry file src/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol in full, plus its two imports, the abstract ClausDrawFundingProgram and the ProgramTypes/IProgram definitions. The six hardcoded mainnet dependencies all have code at the pinned addresses. The adapter that builds and delivers trade receipts is not in the repository, so receipt semantics are an assumption, stated in each finding.

    What the contract does. It is a Claus trade program that quotes a six-way fee allocation and, after each trade, maintains a 7-day hourly TWAP of execution prices. Sells pay up to 2.7% extra when spot is below the TWAP, plus 1% when a single sell exceeds 0.5% of in-range liquidity. All remaining module fee is earmarked as a floor reserve, which anyone can release at 0.05 ETH per hour to the burn hook when the last observed price is under 85% of the TWAP.

    Findings written to .imd-findings.json:

    • High, with proof. Each receipt moves the price anchor by up to 10% with no size weighting or time limit. Thirty 1-wei exact-output buys in one block lift the anchor 17x, and an hour later honest sells at an unchanged spot are quoted the full 2.7% surcharge.
    • High, with proof. The first observation is never clamped. A single 1-wei receipt seeds the anchor a million times above spot, and after 48 honest hourly trades the TWAP still reads 207,000x the real price.
    • Medium, with proof. The release trigger reads the last single observation rather than pool spot. Two dust sells whose ETH output rounds to 1 wei drop the anchor to 0.81x and release 0.05 ETH of reserve to the burn hook while spot never moved.
    • Low. The large-sell check multiplies liquidity by the square-root price in checked arithmetic and reverts at extreme pool states, blocking sell quotes instead of returning the base fee.
    • Low. The TWAP walks up to 169 cold storage slots per call. Measured cold cost is about 0.49M gas per sell quote and 0.58M per trade delivery, with a possible sell denial of service if the adapter caps gas.
    • Info. A receipt timestamped before the last observation overwrites the price without accruing time. Reachable only if the adapter delivers receipts out of order.

    Verified properties. Spot-price conversion, the clamp, the cumulative accumulator and the ring-buffer walk cannot overflow or divide by zero at realistic values. Checkpoint selection and the staleness and coverage guards behave as documented. The claim transfer in the release path is wrapped so a failure restores the reserve.

    Trust assumptions, not findings. The governance contract can repoint which adapter may deliver receipts, which changes behavior after review. The draw, buy-and-hodl and burn hook addresses are fixed and were confirmed to hold code. Whether the adapter credits claims before calling the program, and whether it forwards receipts for wei-sized swaps, could not be verified from this repository.

    Coverage gaps. Only the math passes were applied in depth, as assigned. The permissions, economics and control-flow guides were used only where they touched the arithmetic. No fork test was run, and the scratch tests under test/scratch/ mock the governance, draw and pool-manager calls.

    • highOracle anchor moves 10% per receipt regardless of trade size or elapsed time: wei-sized swaps inflate the TWAP and every honest sell is charged MAX_EXTRAsrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:173

      _afterTrade() prices every receipt as a0*1e18/a1 (line 132) and _observe() clamps the new lastPrice to +/-10% of the previous one per observation (lines 173-175). Nothing weights an observation by notional and nothing rate-limits the step by elapsed time, so N receipts in one block move the anchor by 1.1^N or 0.9^N.

      Integer rounding in the pool makes the per-receipt price arbitrary for wei-sized swaps: an exact-output buy of 1 wei CLAUS costs ceil(1e-6 wei)=1 wei ETH at a real price of 1e6 CLAUS/ETH, so the receipt (amount0=-1, amount1=+1) is priced 1e18 wei per 1e18 CLAUS, 1e6x spot, and is clamped to +10%. averagePrice() (line 111) extrapolates lastPrice from lastTime to now, so once the anchor is lifted the inflated value enters the TWAP immediately for every second nobody else trades, and each honest trade can only pull it back 10%. sellExtra() (lines 94-97) compares the pool's true sqrtPriceX96 spot against this TWAP, so honest sellers at an unmoved spot pay up to MAX_EXTRA (2.7%) into floorReserve.

      Measured: after 2 days of hourly honest history at 1e12, thirty 1-wei receipts lift lastPrice to 17,449,402,268,870 (17.4x); one quiet hour later the 49h TWAP reads 1,328,988,045,377 (+33%) and quote(sell) returns a[5]=29000 instead of 2000. With hourly honest trades afterwards the anchor decays 10%/hour, so the excess sits in the 7-day window for days. Cost to the attacker is gas only (the swap fee on 1 wei is 0); the victims are every seller for the rest of the window.

      Verified by test; assumes the adapter delivers a receipt for each swap including wei-sized ones (receipt semantics are not in the repository).

      Fix: ignore observations below a minimum ETH notional (e.g. a0 < 1e15) and/or bound the clamp by elapsed time (max 10% per SLOT elapsed since lastTime, 0 within the same timestamp), or weight the step by trade size.

      State: 49 hourly receipts (amount0=-1e16, amount1=+1e22) so lastPrice=twap=1e12 and sellExtra(1000<<96)==0.

      Input: 30 receipts in one block with amount0=-1, amount1=+1 (price 1e18 each, clamped to 1.1x).

      Expected: oracle unchanged, quote(false, -1e22, 1000<<96, 1e24) -> a[5]==2000.

      Actual: lastPrice=17449402268870; after warp(+1h) averagePrice()=1328988045377; sellExtra==27000; a[5]==29000.

    • highFirst observation is never clamped: the first trader seeds lastPrice with a 1-wei receipt and poisons the TWAP for ~2 weekssrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:172

      When lastPrice==0 (deployment, or after it decays to 0) _observe() stores the receipt price without any bound (line 172 skips the clamp). The receipt price is a0*1e18/a1 with no notional floor (line 132), so the very first swap routed to this program decides the anchor. A 1 wei ETH / 1 wei CLAUS exact-output buy (a legal Uniswap swap, ETH-in rounded up to 1 wei) seeds lastPrice=1e18 while the pool trades at 1e12.

      Every later honest trade can lower the anchor by at most 10% (line 174), so it needs ln(1e6)/ln(1/0.9)=131 trades to reach the real price; meanwhile cumulative accrues at the inflated anchor and the 7-day window keeps it for another week.

      Measured: after the seed and 48 hourly honest trades at 1e12, lastPrice=6,362,685,441,135,938 (6,363x real), twap=207,007,773,866,430,010 (207,000x real), sellExtra(real spot)=27000 and quote(sell) returns a[5]=29000 instead of 2000. Because lastPrice decays faster than the TWAP, releasable() (line 152) also holds for most of that period, so the reserve is additionally drained at RELEASE_MAX per hour to BURN_HOOK.

      This is a launch-time hazard (xray: what the first outside caller can do) that costs the attacker one dust swap.

      Fix: require a minimum ETH notional before an observation is accepted, and/or seed the first observation from the pool's sqrtPriceX96 spot (spotPrice()) rather than from a single receipt, or clamp the first receipt against spotPrice.

      State: freshly deployed program, no observations.

      Input: receipt id=1 amount0=-1 amount1=+1 (first trade), then 48 hourly receipts amount0=-1e16 amount1=+1e22 (real price 1e12).

      Expected: twap ~1e12, quote(false,-1e22,1000<<96,1e24)[5]==2000.

      Actual: lastPrice=6362685441135938, twap=207007773866430010, sellExtra==27000, a[5]==29000.

    • mediumreleasable() keys the floor release on a single clamped observation: two 1-wei-output sells release RELEASE_MAX while spot is unchangedsrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:152

      The release trigger compares lastPrice, the last receipt's clamped execution price, with 85% of the TWAP. It never looks at the pool's sqrtPriceX96. lastPrice drops 10% per receipt (line 174), and an exact-input sell whose ETH output rounds down to 1 wei is priced far below spot: selling 1,999,999 wei CLAUS at 1e6 CLAUS/ETH pays floor(1.999999)=1 wei ETH, receipt price 1e18/1999999 = 5.0e11, half of spot, clamped to 0.9*lastPrice.

      Two such receipts give lastPrice=0.81twap < 0.85twap and _maybeRelease() (called from _afterTrade and from the public releaseFloor()) transfers min(floorReserve, 0.05 ether) of ETH claims to BURN_HOOK, then again every RELEASE_INTERVAL as long as the attacker keeps the anchor down with two dust sells per hour.

      Measured: floorReserve 0.49 ETH -> 0.44 ETH after the two receipts, PoolManager.transfer(BURN_HOOK, 0, 0.05 ether) called, spotPrice(sqrtP) still 1e12.

      Impact: the floor-defense reserve is spent on buybacks when there is no drawdown (up to 1.2 ETH/day), and the attacker can time the buyback it funds; cost is gas for two dust swaps per hour. Honest large sells have the same effect: two consecutive sells whose execution price is >=10% under spot trigger a release even if spot recovers in the same block.

      Fix: evaluate the trigger against the pool spot (pass sqrtPriceX96 into the release path, or read the pool) and/or require the deficit to persist across time rather than across receipts; apply the minimum-notional guard from the observation fix.

      State: 49 hourly receipts amount0=-1e16, amount1=+1e22, moduleFeeEth=1e16 (floorReserve=0.49 ETH, twap=lastPrice=1e12, releasable()==0).

      Input: two receipts in one block with amount0=+1, amount1=-1999999 (each priced 5.0e11, clamped to 0.9x).

      Expected: no release, floorReserve stays 0.49 ETH because spotPrice(1000<<96) is still 1e12.

      Actual: lastPrice=810000000000, floorReserve=0.44 ETH, 0.05 ETH of claims sent to 0x37Bfb8AC7C960E558657871D41Ca70E07e7DbfFf.

    • lowlargeSellExtra: liquidity * sqrtPriceX96 can overflow uint256 before the >> 96, making quote() revert for sells instead of returning the base feesrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:82

      The exact-input branch computes reserve1 as uint256(liquidity) * uint256(sqrtPriceX96) >> 96 with checked arithmetic. liquidity is up to 2^128 and sqrtPriceX96 up to 2^160, so the product is up to 2^288 and reverts with panic 0x11 whenever liquidity * sqrtPriceX96 >= 2^256, i.e. sqrtPriceX96 >= 2^256/liquidity.

      The function's contract (comment, line 76) is to return 0 for anything unreadable so selling never depends on this check; a revert here propagates through _quote/quote and blocks every exact-input sell at that pool state.

      Reachability needs an extreme state: with in-range liquidity 2^113 (maxLiquidityPerTick for tickSpacing 60) the price must exceed about 2^143 in sqrtPriceX96 terms (about 2e28 CLAUS per ETH), so this is an edge-case robustness defect rather than a live exploit; both inputs come from pool state the adapter forwards, not from the caller. The exact-output branch ((liquidity << 96) / sqrtPriceX96) cannot overflow.

      Fix: use a 512-bit mulDiv (FullMath.mulDiv(liquidity, sqrtPriceX96, 2**96)) or compute the comparison in unchecked form with an overflow check that returns 0.

      Input: largeSellExtra(-1, uint160(1<<130), uint128(1<<127)) -> reverts with Panic(0x11). quote(addr, false, -1, 1<<130, 1<<127, "") also reverts.

      Expected: returns 0 or LARGE_SELL_EXTRA, never reverts.

      Contrast: largeSellExtra(1, 1<<130, 1<<127) (exact-output branch) returns normally.

      Verified in test/scratch/Misc.t.sol::test_largeSellExtra_overflowReverts.

    • lowaveragePrice() walks up to 169 cold checkpoint slots on every sell quote and every onTrade: ~0.49M gas per callsrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:116

      The TWAP finds the oldest in-window checkpoint by a linear backwards walk over the 192-slot ring. With hourly checkpoints the 7-day window holds 168 entries plus one older entry to break on, so steady-state calls read ~169 storage slots. averagePrice() runs inside quote() for every sell (sellExtra, line 91) and again inside onTrade() for every trade via _afterTrade -> _maybeRelease -> releasable (lines 140, 150).

      Measured with a full ring and cold storage (vm.cool): averagePrice 486,141 gas; quote(sell) 497,905 gas versus quote(buy) 12,924 gas; onTrade 576,226 gas. If quote and onTrade run in the same transaction the second walk is warm (~100 gas/slot) but the first is still ~0.5M gas, paid by the trader on top of the swap.

      If the adapter calls quote or onTrade with a bounded gas stipend, every sell reverts once history accumulates (denial of service of selling after about a week of trading); the adapter's gas policy is not in the repository, so this is reported as a gas/robustness defect with the DoS as a lead.

      Fix: binary-search the ring (timestamps are monotonic in ring order), or maintain the oldest-in-window index incrementally when a checkpoint is written, giving O(1) reads.

      State: 192 hourly receipts (ring full, count==192).

      Call averagePrice() with cold storage: 486,141 gas. quote(addr,false,-1e22,1000<<96,1e24,""): 497,905 gas. quote(addr,true,...): 12,924 gas. onTrade(valid receipt): 576,226 gas.

      Expected: cost independent of history length (tens of thousands of gas).

      Verified in test/scratch/Misc.t.sol::test_averagePrice_gas.

    • infoReceipt with timestamp earlier than lastTime overwrites lastPrice without accruing cumulative, so the stale price is weighted over the live intervalsrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:177

      onTrade only requires trade.timestamp <= block.timestamp. If a receipt arrives with ts < lastTime, _observe skips the cumulative accrual and the lastTime update (lines 178-179) but still replaces lastPrice (line 180), and averagePrice() then extrapolates that stale price from the newer lastTime.

      Whether this is reachable depends on the adapter: if receipts are always delivered synchronously with ts == block.timestamp it is unreachable; if receipts can be delivered later or out of order, an old low (or high) price is applied to the wrong interval. Reported for completeness because the adapter is not in the repository.

      Fix: return early from _observe when ts < lastTime (or require ts >= lastTime in onTrade).

      State: receipt at T (price 1e12), receipt at T+1h (price 1e12).

      Input: receipt with timestamp T+30min, amount0=-1e16, amount1=+2e22 (price 5e11, clamped to 0.9x).

      Actual: lastTime stays T+1h, cumulative unchanged, lastPrice=900000000000; averagePrice() now extrapolates 9e11 from T+1h.

      Verified in test/scratch/Misc.t.sol::test_outOfOrderTimestamp.

  6. Audit judgeAgent #1773found 2 high, 3 medium, 4 low, 1 info

    I've written 10 findings to .imd-findings.json. The specialists sent 26 reports, and I merged them, dropped the duplicates, and kept only what I could reproduce. All three files were read: src/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol, its base src/ClausDrawFundingProgram.sol, and src/IClausTradeProgram.sol.

    How I checked: I ran the four specialist proof tests and wrote one test of my own for the rest, all in a throwaway copy of the code. The repository has no foundry.toml or lib/, so I set up that copy outside the repo with forge-std. I deleted the test from the repo afterwards and changed no files there. Every line number and code excerpt in the file matches the source.

    SeverityFindingWhereHow it was confirmed
    highThe 10% price limit applies per trade, not per unit of time, and there is no minimum trade size. Thirty 1-wei swaps in one block push the price average up, so sellers pay the full 2.7% extra while the pool price hasn't moved (4 reports merged)DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:173Proof fails on the current code (29000 != 2000)
    highThe first trade is never limited at all. One 1-wei/1-wei trade sets the starting price about a million times too high, and the average stays wrong for roughly two weeks:172Proof fails (29000 != 2000)

    infoPrivileged roles and dependencies that can change behaviour after review: governance, the adapter, the draw contracts, the burn hook. Also noted: a replacement adapter reusing old trade ids would have them rejected, and the sell surcharge may be avoidable with a buy just before the sellClausDrawFundingProgram.sol:42Documented only, not a defect

    The first three findings carry the specialists' proof tests.

    Assumptions I could not check:

    • Several findings depend on how the off-repo adapter and host behave, which I took from the specialists' reading of the deployed code:

      • The adapter gives quote only 50,000 gas and falls back to a default plan if it fails. If true, the gas finding becomes high, because the extra sell fee would never be charged.
      • Receipts can be delivered late, out of order, and by anyone.
      • Undeliverable receipts cannot be retried.
      • BURN_HOOK is an upgradeable proxy.

      The gas cost itself is measured; the 50k limit is not.

    • The dust-swap findings assume a receipt is delivered for every swap, including 1-wei ones. Nothing in this code rejects them.

    Dropped: I left out the claim that a seller can dodge the surcharge with a buy just before the sell as its own finding, because it was argued, not shown with a test; it is mentioned in the info entry. I folded the replay-key issue into the info entry as well.

    • highOracle step clamp is per receipt, not per time, with no minimum notional: dust swaps in one block inflate the TWAP and charge honest sellers MAX_EXTRAsrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:173

      State: 49 hourly receipts amount0=-1e16, amount1=+1e22 (price 1e12); averagePrice()=(true,1e12); sellExtra(1000<<96)=0.

      The economics specialist's variant (20 dust buys, +3h) also reproduced: sellExtra 27000 != 0.

    • highFirst observation is unclamped: one 1-wei/1-wei receipt seeds lastPrice at 1e6x the real price and poisons the TWAP for about two weekssrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:172

    • mediumaveragePrice() walks up to 169 cold checkpoints: about 0.5M gas per sell quote, more than a bounded adapter quote budget once the TWAP becomes validsrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:116

    • mediumFloor release is keyed on the single manipulable lastPrice: two dust sells release RELEASE_MAX to BURN_HOOK every hour while the pool price is unchangedsrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:152

      State: 49 hourly receipts amount0=-1e16, amount1=+1e22, moduleFeeEth=0.01 ether (floorReserve=0.49 ETH, releasable()=0).

    • mediumfloorReserve has no exit once the oracle is stale (program replaced or 2 days without trades): reserved ETH claims are locked permanentlysrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:150

      Reproduced in test/scratch/Misc.t.sol::test_reserveLockedWhenStale.

    • lowOut-of-order receipt overwrites lastPrice without advancing lastTime, so a stale price is extrapolated from the newer timesrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:180

      Reproduced in test/scratch/Misc.t.sol::test_outOfOrderReceipt.

    • lowlargeSellExtra multiplies liquidity*sqrtPriceX96 with checked arithmetic and can revert, blocking sell quotes instead of returning 0src/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:83

      liquidity (up to 2^128) times sqrtPriceX96 (up to 2^160) can exceed 2^256 and panics with 0x11. That breaks the documented 'unreadable => 0' behaviour, and the revert propagates through quote() for exact-input sells. It needs an extreme price/liquidity state, so it is an edge-case robustness issue.

      Fix: FullMath.mulDiv or an overflow check that returns 0.

      largeSellExtra(-1, 1<<130, 1<<127) reverts with Panic(0x11); largeSellExtra(1, 1<<130, 1<<127) returns 0. Reproduced in test/scratch/Misc.t.sol::test_largeSellExtraOverflow.

    • lowDuring the draw window a receipt whose module share is below feeEth/1000 reverts in onTrade, so no observation is recorded and the trade is never deliveredsrc/ClausDrawFundingProgram.sol:51

      onTrade reverts with DrawFundingAllocationRequired instead of capping the draw contribution.

      Reproduced in test/scratch/Misc.t.sol::test_drawWindowRevertsOnSmallModuleShare.

    • lowLarge-sell surcharge is judged per swap and is avoided by splitting a sell below 0.5% of the virtual reservesrc/DynamicSellFloorProgram.sol:86

    • infoTrust assumptions: privileged roles and mutable dependencies that can change behaviour after reviewsrc/ClausDrawFundingProgram.sol:42
