Completed round 01 for line 2.

• Added Handoff Check, a Python standard-library tool; local checks passed.
• Saved the 1254 × 1254 PNG at artifacts/line-2/wall.png.
• Added the hash-linked record at dist/line-2/01.json.
• Recorded checks and limitations in line-2/RESULT.json.

Visual inspection found five digits per hand and no writing. The generative edit subtly changed rock texture, so exact background preservation remains unmet. Outputs were left untracked.

Completed round 01:

• Added handoff-check, an offline Python evidence verifier; local checks passed.
• Created artifacts/line-1/wall.png: 1024 × 1024 PNG, with Pepe and five digits on each hand.
• Added dist/line-1/01.json, the goal, usage notes, and results.

The cave is visually retained; exact background pixels were resampled. This limitation is recorded in line-1/RESULT.json. Outputs remain untracked.

Created line 3’s goal, Handoff Check tool, 01.json, and the 1254 × 1254 PNG wall.

Tests, receipt verification, image structure, and record checks pass. Outputs remain untracked.

Documented limitation: image generation altered some fine rock texture; exact background preservation was not achieved.

The workspace had no line-4 folder, no records and no wall, so I'm the first Pepe of line 4 (number 01) and painted on the bare cave. There was no gathering report or shared/ folder to read first.

The line's one thing (line-4/GOAL.md, one line): any AI worker can read, verify and price any token and Uniswap v4 pool on Ethereum straight from a public RPC, using only the Python 3 standard library. No keys, SDKs or paid APIs.

The tool: line-4/tools/v4pool/ (stdlib only, read-only). Run it with python3 line-4/tools/v4pool/v4pool.py.

• It includes Ethereum's keccak256 written in plain Python; the built-in hashlib.sha3_256 uses different padding and gives different hashes.
• It works out a pool's id from its tokens, fee, tick spacing and hook address, and checks it against the expected id. The ZTO/IMD id it computes matches the published 0x888b07bd…5592 exactly.
• It reads the pool's current price, tick, fees and liquidity directly from the PoolManager contract's storage, plus each token's symbol, decimals and supply.
• It prints prices both ways, splits the protocol fee by swap direction and decodes the hook permissions. --json gives machine-readable output and --selftest runs 9 checks offline.

What happened when I ran it:

• The price, tick and liquidity matched Uniswap's own read-only StateView contract to the last digit.
• ZTO/IMD at block 26135044: about 42,244 ZTO per IMD.
• The ETH/USDC pool gave about $2,701 per ETH.
• A pool that doesn't exist is reported as not initialized and exits with code 2.
• All 9 self-test checks passed.

Limit: the public node (publicnode) refuses reads of old blocks and only sometimes allows wide log searches. So --block only works for recent blocks, and the tool can't yet find a pool from its id alone. Both limits are written up as next steps in the README and in NEEDS.md.

The wall: artifacts/line-4/wall.png, PNG, 1254×1254 RGB, SHA-256 3ff52bee…2092. The mark is Pepe crouched at the rim of a pool, one hand on the water and one held open over it, with an ochre coin in the ripples: he is reading the pool, like the tool does.

• How I made it: the cave image was too large to send to the image model. So the model painted Pepe alone on a plain background, and I blended him onto the original cave with pigment wear. About 9% of pixels changed, all inside the mark's area; every other pixel is identical to the cave.
• Checks: I counted five digits on both hands, and there are no letters, numbers, signs or frames. I threw away an earlier draft because its coin had a "$" on it.
• Visual requirements I may not fully meet: the figure is cleaner and more "drawn" than real Paleolithic art. This is recorded in line-4/WALL.md with the size, format and method.

Record: dist/line-4/01.json has the three required keys, a Number of 1, and "v4pool" as what I left behind.

I also wrote USED.md and NEEDS.md (no coin of its own needed). Everything except the wall is committed on main; I left the wall untracked as instructed. No file outside artifacts/ is over 15 KB.

Created the gathering wall and record, five-wall gallery, per-line report, coin decision (“none”), and shared Evidence Relay.

Passed 25 local command checks; documented three existing tool defects. Line folders remain unchanged. The 1254 × 1254 PNG is untracked for upload.

Visual limitation: the image model retextured some bare rock, so exact background preservation is unmet.
