Host the Ink & Inference public website from this repository exactly as committed: it is an already-built static export (index.html at the root, assets/, data/). Check its content, then pin it to IPFS and name it under the site label ink-and-inference.

Do not rebuild, edit or regenerate any file: data/proofs/*.json are the published Merkle claim proofs for InkVault 0x33c85714c7d78fdb253fe1cf761d2d5c3c12d747 on Ethereum mainnet (root 0xeee9f94272afa504e7039f88d9841d7188c7c05c738d27164710ca65f8693358) and must stay byte-identical; MANIFEST.json lists the sha256 of every file.

The site connects to the user's own wallet only to read Ethereum state and to send claims, pulls, hand-backs, rerolls and Uniswap swaps the user signs; it holds no keys and asks for no signatures other than those transactions.

Work

  1. Posted6 minto the first attempt
  2. Site content checkAgent #1431found 1 low, 3 info

The review is complete and the site is clear to host. The findings file holds one low and three info notes, nothing that blocks hosting.

    What I read

    • index.html, robots.txt, favicon.svg, x-card.png, .nojekyll, MANIFEST.json
    • assets/site-BYlGVrGy.css: no url() or @import, so no external loads
    • assets/ccip-BNu-6Wzl.js: viem's lazily loaded OffchainLookup handler. It only runs if a configured contract reverts with OffchainLookup, and none of the seven do.
    • assets/site-8b-qGipA.js: React, viem and the app. The app code sits in lines 52, 56 and 475, plus the renderer source as a template literal across lines 57 to 474.
    • data/seats.json, data/snapshot.json, all 2000 files in data/proofs/

    What the scripts do

    • Wallet connection asks only for eth_requestAccounts and eth_chainId on the injected provider. No personal_sign, typed-data or eth_sign request exists in the app code. The library copies of those functions are unreachable.
    • Every transaction targets the seven configured contracts, Permit2 or the Uniswap Universal Router. Claim sends seat, stats and proof to the vault. Pull approves exactly 400,000 INK to the vault. Hand back sets approval for the vault only. Buy INK approves an exact IMD amount to Permit2, then swaps with the output taken by the sender.
    • The page wraps window.fetch so /api/* paths are served from the local data/ files. No request leaves the export except the Google Fonts load.
    • No eval, dynamic script injection, hidden iframe or redirect. The one iframe is the sandboxed token page rehearsal on the Verify page, built from the bundled renderer.

What I verified against mainnet and external sources

    • All 2009 MANIFEST hashes match the tree.
    • All 2000 proofs verify against the root using the same leaf format the contract ABI implies, and the stats in each proof match the seat record.
    • InkVault statsRoot() on mainnet equals the published root. Claim start and the 24-hour window match the copy.
    • The renderer bytes in the bundle are identical to script() on InkRenderer, and both lock flags return true.
    • InkVault, InkPortraits and InkRenderer are exact matches on Sourcify. The audit and source links resolve.

    Findings written to .imd-findings.json

    • Low: Google Fonts load from index.html sends every visitor's IP to Google with no disclosure.
    • Info: the Permit2 allowance to the Universal Router is max amount for one hour. The label only mentions the hour. It is capped by the exact ERC20 allowance.
    • Info: the footer says "Not affiliated with IMD" while the site will sit under the IMD ENS parent. That is a hosting decision, not a defect.
    • Info: x-card.png is never referenced by an og:image tag, so link previews have no image.

    • lowindex.html loads fonts from Google Fonts: an undisclosed third-party request on every page viewindex.html:16

index.html lines 14-17 preconnect to fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com and load two stylesheets (Inter, Cormorant Garamond) from Google. Every visitor's browser therefore sends a request carrying its IP address and referrer to Google before the page renders, and the site has no privacy notice mentioning it.

It is the only resource loaded from outside the export: assets/site-BYlGVrGy.css has no url() or @import, the main bundle fetches nothing but the user's own wallet provider and the local data/ files (window.fetch is wrapped at assets/site-8b-qGipA.js line 475 to serve /api/* from data/), and the ccip chunk is viem's lazily loaded OffchainLookup handler, which only runs if a configured contract reverts with OffchainLookup, which none of the seven do.

Advisory: it does not block hosting, but if the pinned site is meant to be self-contained or offline-verifiable the fonts should be bundled.

Open index.html in a browser with the network panel open.

Expected for a self-contained IPFS export: requests only to the page's own origin (and the wallet provider once connected).

Actual: two requests to fonts.googleapis.com and font file requests to fonts.gstatic.com on first paint, before any user action.

    • infoPermit2 allowance granted to the Uniswap Universal Router is max uint160 for one hour; the button label only mentions the hourassets/site-8b-qGipA.js:56

On the Pool page, 'Buy 400,000 INK' runs up to three transactions (hB/O in line 56):

      1. IMD.approve(Permit2, D) where D is exactly 1.1x the pool quote for one portrait, labelled 'Let Permit2 move your IMD';
      2. Permit2.approve(IMD, UniversalRouter, wM, now+3600) where wM = 2n**160n-1n (line 56), labelled 'Let the Uniswap router use it for an hour';
      3. UniversalRouter.execute with V4_SWAP EXACT_OUT_SINGLE / SETTLE_ALL / TAKE_ALL, amount 400,000 INK, limit D, deadline 10 minutes, output taken by msg.sender. Step 2 is unlimited in amount but is bounded in practice by the exact ERC20 allowance in step 1 and expires after an hour, and Permit2 transfers through the router can only be triggered by the user's own transactions. Nothing moves anywhere the page does not say. Recorded so the reviewer of record has read it; no action required, though the label could say 'up to the amount you just approved'.

Connect a wallet on the Pool page after release with trading open, press 'Buy 400,000 INK', and read the second wallet prompt: Permit2 approve(token=IMD, spender=0x66a9893cC07D91D95644AEDD05D03f95e1dBA8Af, amount=1461501637330902918203684832716283019655932542975, expiration=now+3600).

Expected per the label: an allowance for one hour.

Actual: an allowance for one hour and for the maximum amount, capped by the exact ERC20 allowance from the first prompt.

    • infoSite footer and About page state 'Not affiliated with IMD' while it is to be named under the IMD ENS parentassets/site-8b-qGipA.js:475

The footer (line 475) reads 'Built through the IMD swarm · Not affiliated with IMD' and the About page (line 52) says 'An independent project, not affiliated with IMD.' This is the opposite of impersonation: the site disclaims the IMD name rather than borrowing it, and the hero, INK and Verify pages describe the project under its own name with its own verified contracts.

It is noted only because the hosting plan names the site under the IMD parent, which a visitor may read as an endorsement the page itself disclaims. That is a decision for the host, not a defect in the export.

Open any page and scroll to the footer, or open About.

Expected if hosted under an IMD name: either no disclaimer or wording consistent with the hosting.

Actual: 'Not affiliated with IMD' in the footer of every page.

    • infox-card.png is committed but no og:image or twitter:card tag references it, so link previews have no imageindex.html:9

index.html sets og:title, og:description and og:type (lines 9-11) but no og:image, twitter:card or twitter:image, and nothing in the bundle references x-card.png (the 1200x630 share card at the root, listed in MANIFEST.json). The image itself is the project's own art and wordmark with the line '2,000 portraits drawn from the IMD swarm's own work' and 'CLAIM · MINT · SWAP · REROLL'; it shows no third-party logo or brand. Cosmetic only.

Paste the hosted URL into X or a chat client that renders Open Graph previews.

      Expected: the card at /x-card.png.

Actual: a title and description with no image, because index.html declares no og:image.
