1.lowA Letterbox constructor refusal (the Sepolia mint flag or a foreign oracle asset on chain id 1) makes deployLetterbox revert forever; no on-chain guard or rehearsal catches it before the launch landssrc/PleaLaunch.sol:138
if (deployed == address(0)) revert LetterboxDeployFailed();
2.infoREADME still states the letter minimum as 'whose 15% is under 1,000 PLEA' after the run-8 move to 20%README.md:92
- **Fees are paid in PLEA, in the letter's own transaction.** The gate sells just enough of your PLEA, through the hook with the normal 2.0% fee and your own 0.5% cashback, for exactly the IMD needed: the 0.5 IMD oracle fee, a **0.25 IMD runner tip** and, for an appeal, the 0.35 IMD wall share. That is all a letter ever costs: **letters pay no auto-sell fee**, and a writer who sends `SELL` gets the tip back. It may spend at most the hourly snapshot value **+10%**; unspent PLEA comes straight back. A letter whose fees would take more than 10% of your PLEA, or whose 15% is under 1,000 PLEA, is refused (an appeal's fees may instead go up to the original plea's amount, with the same 10% slack, so whoever could plead by letter can appeal by letter unless the hourly price fell by more than about a tenth since the letter). On Sepolia the oracle fee token is a separate test token, so the Letterbox mints that 0.5 instead of buying it.
Run 8 moved the letter share to 20% (src/Letterbox.sol line 111: LETTER_SHARE_BPS = 2_000; README line 85, the Letterbox NatSpec, THREAT-MODEL invariant 15 and the launch.json notes all say 20%).
The fee bullet on README line 92 still describes the LetterTooSmall rule as 'whose 15% is under 1,000 PLEA', i.e. a refusal under a 6,667 PLEA balance, while the code (src/Letterbox.sol lines 296-298: amount = bal * 2_000 / 10_000, refused under MIN_LETTER = 1_000e18) refuses under 5,000 PLEA. Reported by the economics, math and flow specialists; merged here.
Documentation only: the agreed number in the code is unchanged and the 0.70 IMD floor dominates this minimum at any realistic price.
Fix: '20%' on README line 92 (the appeal margin sentence in the same bullet, derived for 15% letters, is still true but no longer tight).
Compare README.md line 92 ('or whose 15% is under 1,000 PLEA, is refused') with src/Letterbox.sol lines 111 and 296-298.
A writer holding 5,500 PLEA worth at least 8.25 IMD at the snapshot sends a letter: 20% = 1,100 PLEA >= MIN_LETTER, so the Letterbox accepts it (status Pending); the README sentence predicts LetterTooSmall (15% = 825 < 1,000).
Expected: the README states the 20% rule; actual: it states 15%.
3.infoREADME's Sepolia settings table still lists START as 1792162800 (2026-10-16) while launch.json commits 1792335600 (2026-10-18 15:00 UTC)README.md:241
| `START` | 1792162800 (Fri 2026-10-16 15:00 UTC; the owner may seed earlier) |
Commit d01ac14 ('Run 8: launch.json notes and START (2026-10-18 15:00 UTC)') moved PleaLaunch's 9th constructor argument to 1792335600 (launch.json line 49; its notes say 'START 1792335600 (2026-10-18 15:00 UTC)'), but the README's Sepolia settings table (line 241) still says 1792162800 (Fri 2026-10-16 15:00 UTC), two days earlier.
START is the moment from which anyone may call seed(); a reader of the README would expect permissionless seeding two days before the committed manifest allows it. Documentation only; no contract number changes.
Fix: 1792335600 (Sun 2026-10-18 15:00 UTC) on README line 241.
date -u -d @1792335600 prints Sun Oct 18 15:00:00 UTC 2026 (launch.json line 49); date -u -d @1792162800 prints Fri Oct 16 15:00:00 UTC 2026 (README line 241).
Deploy the manifest as committed and call launch.START(): 1792335600.
A non-owner calling seed() at 1792162800 (the README's START) reverts TooEarly(1792335600); the README says anyone may call it then.

Audit mathAgent #1782found 1 info
I found no Critical, High, Medium or Low defect in A2. The only finding is one Info, a stale line in the README. It's written to
.imd-findings.json, and no repository files were changed.Finding (Info):
README.md:92still says a letter is refused when "its 15% is under 1,000 PLEA". Letters now plead 20% (Letterbox.LETTER_SHARE_BPS2,000), and the code atsrc/Letterbox.sol:296-298refuses a letter only below 1,000 PLEA at 20%. So the real minimum balance is 5,000 PLEA, not the 6,667 PLEA the README implies. The same bullet's appeal margin ("unless the hourly price fell by more than about a tenth") was worked out for 15% letters. It is still true but no longer tight: with 20% letters an appeal by letter still clears its fee check after a fall of about a third on mainnet and about 14% on Sepolia. Fix: change "15%" to "20%". The code and the agreed number agree.Invariants checked: 2, 3 (the share band), 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18.
What held up (math):
- Letter amount: 20% of the balance always lands in the gate's ≤20% band, within the 2.5M cap and the 1,000 PLEA minimum.
- Appeal amount: the same-share clamp, the 1% minimum, the raise to the 0.70 IMD floor and the 50% cap together always produce an amount the gate accepts. It never exceeds the original, the gate's 50% or the 2.5M cap, and never falls under the gate's 1% minimum. The rounding matches the gate's.
- Floor raise: the rounded-up floor amount always passes
_requireWorthTheFee. - Fee caps: the +10%, the 10% of the balance and the appeal exception all hold. The fee sale actually costs about 2.04% in hook fees on exact output, which leaves about 7.8% of room for a price dip.
- R7-M-1: the fix is correct. The real sale fees are 0.2494% of the PLEA plus 1.75% of the IMD, so 1.9956% against the 2% assumed, and the floor of 93.1% of the snapshot value leaves 5.00% room before the sale's impact.
- Auto-sell fee: it can never exceed the sale. Only the site's box pays it (the
BY_LETTERflag), and the gate'sBadFlagscheck matches. - Escrow: IMD and PLEA balance out on every path (the tip stays, the gate's allowances are used exactly, unspent PLEA comes back).
deliverandsettleagree with the gate on the window and expiry edges, so delivery is once only and no escrow can be stranded (a dead Cabal and a failed intake included). - Overflow: none in
uint88escrows or in themulDivand basis-point products.
What held up (the other contracts):
- PLEA transfer rules: blocked for a non-exempt holder sending to the PoolManager, the gate, the Letterbox or any wallet, and for burns.
setLauncher, initandsetLetterboxeach work once. - PleaLaunch: the 14-bit hook flag mask, the committed hashes and CREATE2 predictions, and the chain-1 clock check all hold.
- PleaDistributor: the 84-byte leaf can't be confused with an internal node, the bitmap works, the root is set once and renounce is guarded.
Tests run:
forge build --skip test --skip scriptsucceeded.test/{LaunchManifest,Letterbox}.t.sol: 46 tests passed. The launch transaction uses 13,372,577 gas, 462,673 under the 16,777,216 cap with the 22% headroom.launch.json's Letterbox and Tribunal hashes match this build.- The regression suites for the earlier fixes passed: AuditRound1, AppealRounding, Token, Launch, DistributorOwnership, MainnetGuard, DistributorAdversarial, Run7DistributorLifecycle (59 tests).
Not covered:
- I wrote no new Foundry proofs, since there was nothing High to prove.
- I did not run the
FOUNDRY_PROFILE=fullsuites (invariant, adversarial, fork). - I followed calls into CabalGate, PleaHook and Seasons only where A2 depends on them; those contracts belong to the other areas.

Writer with exactly 5,000 PLEA, worth at least 8.25 IMD at the snapshot (mainnet path): a letter pleads 1,000 PLEA (bal*2000/10000 = 1,000e18 >= MIN_LETTER), so it is not refused.
The README says a letter is refused 'whose 15% is under 1,000 PLEA', i.e. at any balance under 6,667 PLEA.

- Invariant 1 (PLEA gating): every
_updatebranch fortransfer, transferFrom, burn, the PoolManager, the gate, the Letterbox and allowlisted senders. Only system senders, courtTakefrom the Letterbox for its own caller, and the gate's owntransferFrompass while the Cabal lives. - Invariant 14 (custody):
deliverandsettleclose the escrow before the external call, pay only the escrowed writer, pay the tip once, refuse a second delivery (NotOpen) and a delivery outside the window (gateWindowLapsed). Every escrow state has an exit: pending viaexpireafter 20 minutes or a completed request, approved via the window's end, denied and expired directly, and the death path. A scratch test confirmed the balance equals open escrows plus tips across letter, denial, appeal letter and settle. - Invariant 15 (fees): the +10% cap, the 10% balance share, the appeal exception with its slack, unspent PLEA returned, the 0.70 IMD floor, the auto-sell fee capped at the sale and taken only without
BY_LETTER, and the gate'sBadFlagsrule. The Sepolia mint path and the mainnet buy path leave exactly one tip per escrow. - Invariant 16 (text): all 13 selectors contain a control byte or an invalid UTF-8 sequence, so none can start a valid letter.
_after,LetterTooLong, and reentrancy guards on every entry point hold. - Invariant 17 and 18 (launch, token, distributor): committed code hashes and CREATE2 addresses, the flag mask,
initonce with 82/6/12,setLauncher's window, two-step ownership, the chain-1 clock check, the one-time root, the bitmap and the renounce guard. The launch and manifest suites pass on this tree, including the gas cap with the 22% headroom. - Agreed numbers in the code all match the threat model.
The two Info items:
- README line 92 still says a letter is refused when its 15% is under 1,000 PLEA. The code and the rest of the docs say 20%.
- A plea whose text starts with
SELL,NAMEorAPPEALfollowed by a space is routed to that command. It reverts or runs the writer's own command, so nothing is lost. Confirmed bytest/scratch/CommandPrefix.t.sol.
Checked and found correct among the previous fixes for this area: R7-M-1 (the 93.1% delivery floor), R6-M-1 (the lesser-share band on appeals), R4-A2-1/R3-A2-1 (appeal fee exception and
FeeTooHigh), R2-A2-1 (Letterbox constructor checks), R1-A2-2 (the appealAuto floor), R1-A2-6/R6-P-2 (distributor root and renounce). Not run: the full-profile invariant and fork suites, because compiling the whole tree would not have fit the remaining time. The default-profile suites for this area, 62 tests, all passed.

Run 8 moved the letter share to 20% (Letterbox.LETTER_SHARE_BPS = 2_000; FINDINGS.md 'Changes after run 7'; README line 85 and THREAT-MODEL invariant 15 say 20%). README line 92 still describes the LetterTooSmall rule as 'whose 15% is under 1,000 PLEA'.
The code is right (src/Letterbox.sol lines 296-298: amount = bal * 2_000 / 10_000, refused under MIN_LETTER = 1_000e18); the design document carries a stale agreed number for the same rule it states correctly three paragraphs earlier. Documentation only; no behaviour differs.
Expected: README's fee paragraph says a letter is refused when its 20% is under 1,000 PLEA (a balance under 5,000 PLEA).
Actual: it says 'whose 15% is under 1,000 PLEA' (a balance under 6,667 PLEA).
Check: a writer with 5,500 PLEA sends a letter; 20% = 1,100 PLEA >= MIN_LETTER so the Letterbox accepts it (subject to the 0.70 IMD floor), while the README sentence predicts a refusal.
Fix: replace '15%' with '20%' on README line 92.
A plea whose text begins with a command word and a space is routed to the command, not read as a pleasrc/Letterbox.sol:514
_isWord accepts the command word followed by any text after a space or newline, so a letter whose first word happens to be SELL, NAME or APPEAL (upper case) is executed as that command with the rest of the text as its argument. 'SELL my bags?
Never...' becomes a SELL (NotOpen(0) without an open escrow; the gate's NotApproved with a pending one; an actual sale when the writer's escrow is approved, which is what a SELL would do anyway); 'NAME one price...' becomes a name change refused with BadName. No funds move wrongly: every misrouted letter either reverts or performs the writer's own legitimate command, and the writer can resend in a different case.
Reported for completeness as a UX trap of the command grammar (the README table documents the bare words only); the fix, if wanted, is to make SELL match only the bare word and to document that APPEAL/NAME take an argument.

- Letterbox custody. Every escrow ends exactly once:
_closeruns before the sale or the refund, deliverneeds the gate'sApprovedstatus plus theAUTO_SELLflag and the 7-minute window, settlerefuses an approval inside its window and a pending plea the gate still considers answerable. A stranger can only sell or return, never redirect: the writer is read from the escrow, courtTakeonly moves the Letterbox's own caller, andexecuteSellrefuses escrowed pleas withUseLetterbox. No strand found: Pending clears after 20 minutes or on intake completion, Approved becomes settleable after the window, Denied, Expired and Lapsed settle at once, and all of this still works after the Cabal's death. - Fees in PLEA. The gate's exact-output fee swap enforces the +10% bound (
FeeTooHigh) and the Letterbox the 10%-of-balance bound, with the original-amount exception carrying its own slack on appeals. Every PLEA and IMD allowance the Letterbox grants is consumed exactly, so nothing lingers for the gate. The auto-sell fee is capped at the sale and taken only whenBY_LETTERis absent; the gate'sBadFlagsrejects anything withoutAUTO_SELLor above 3. The hook's inventory-cap trim happens after the swap on the hook's own liquidity, so it cannot turn the fee swap into aPartialFill. - APPEAL letters.
_appealTargetfalls back to the original only for an unanswered or expired appeal, the same-share clamp, the 1% floor and the 0.70 IMD raise never push the amount above the original or 50% of the balance, and the retry path re-settles the expired escrow before the gate clears theappealedbit. - Text handling. All thirteen public selectors contain a control byte or a malformed UTF-8 sequence, so none can start valid text. Command words need a space or newline separator, bare
APPEALis refused, and every entry point includingfallbackis behind the transient reentrancy guard. - PLEA. While restricted, PLEA reaches the PoolManager only from the gate or the hook, the gate only through the gate's own
transferFrom, and the Letterbox only throughcourtTake. Holders cannot burn.setLauncheris bounded to the deploy transaction or block andinitis once-only. Allowlisted senders still cannot sell. - PleaLaunch and launch.json. The committed Letterbox and Tribunal hashes equal the keccak of this build's creation code. START decodes to 2026-10-18 15:00 UTC, the Intake, signer and oracle-asset addresses match the oracle reference, and the chain-1 timing guard is in
seed. Launch gas margin to the cap, with the 22% headroom, is 462,673. - PleaDistributor. 84-byte leaves cannot collide with 64-byte internal nodes, the bitmap blocks double claims, the root is set once and nonzero, and renounce is refused before the root.
Tests run: the Letterbox, Launch, LaunchManifest, ManifestInput, Token, MainnetGuard, DistributorOwnership and Run7DistributorLifecycle suites, plus the LetterboxInvariant and DistributorAdversarial suites under the full profile. All passed. Fork suites were not run.
Two by-design edges worth knowing, not reported as findings: when spot falls more than about 9% below the current hourly checkpoint, every letter and site plea in that hour reverts
FeeTooHighuntil a trade writes a new checkpoint (the gate'ssubmitSellstill works). And a delivery after a checkpoint fall of more than roughly 45% since the plea's snapshot pays the site's writer nothing, since the fee is capped at the sale, which the README already states.ran onclaude · claude-fable-5-1 · 24 turns · 17m 13s · 258 in · 42.5K out · 1.1M cachedsubmission9282a0737ff546a2f2e0b0f31dd42444f80b860f05335387c705cc80227ac5e2device433c37ef2c9c708df9424f2466ca706e07aac669b475629974c2b3560facb1f8started from9b89d982de2f4d7a7bd061b77ab53412f787a788bundlenone- Letterbox custody. What I kept from the specialists
- Low, PleaLaunch.deployLetterbox. A Letterbox constructor refusal on chain id 1 (the Sepolia mint flag, or an oracle asset other than the pool IMD) is permanent: the hash, the flag and the asset are immutable, PLEA.setLetterbox is one-shot, and the launch, the chain-1 rehearsal and seed() all pass before the refusal surfaces as an opaque LetterboxDeployFailed. Reproduced with the flow specialist's test in test/scratch, which passes as a demonstration. Operator error is required, so Low. Suggested fix: refuse mintOracleFee and a foreign oracle asset in seed()'s chain-1 branch, and bubble the constructor's revert data.
- Info, README line 92. Still says a letter is refused when "its 15%" is under 1,000 PLEA; the code and every other document say 20%. Three specialists reported it; merged into one.
What I added
- Info, README line 241. The Sepolia table still lists START as 2026-10-16 15:00 UTC; launch.json commits 2026-10-18 15:00 UTC.
What I dropped. The command-prefix note ("SELL my bags" routed to SELL): README line 90 documents exactly that grammar, and every misroute reverts or performs the writer's own command. Not a defect.

Suites run: Letterbox, Launch, LaunchManifest, ManifestInput, Token, MainnetGuard, DistributorOwnership, Run7DistributorLifecycle, and LetterboxInvariant under the full profile. Not run: the fork rehearsals (network).

README still states the letter minimum as 'whose 15% is under 1,000 PLEA' after the run-8 move to 20%README.md:92
README's Sepolia settings table still lists START as 1792162800 (2026-10-16) while launch.json commits 1792335600 (2026-10-18 15:00 UTC)README.md:241
