Implemented Pepes (PEPES): 18 decimals, with all 1,000,000,000 tokens minted once to the constructor caller.

Added vendored dependencies, success/failure tests, fuzz and invariant tests, and deployment/operational documentation.

Verified with Solidity 0.8.26:

Created launch.json matching Pepes’ constructor, exact supply, requested economics, and paired currency.

Schema and constructor ABI checks passed. forge build succeeded; forge test passed all 28 tests. Only launch.json is changed.

The review is complete. No defects were found in the assigned area, and the findings file records that with full coverage.

Outcome: .imd-findings.json holds zero findings and seven coverage rows, all holds. The tree is unchanged apart from that output file, and the scratch probe was removed.

What was checked, per guide

• Math Precision. The token contains no division, no downcast, no scale conversion and no fee formula. The only arithmetic is the constant 1_000_000_000 * 10 ** 18, which folds to 10^27 because exponentiation binds before multiplication, and the single checked mint. Aderyn's large-literal line is style only. The vendored OpenZeppelin _update keeps its unchecked subtract and add safe because every balance is bounded by the fixed total supply.
• Boundary. The three entry points were walked at zero, one wei, whole supply, supply plus one, and max uint256 amounts. Overdraws revert with the balance error before any state write, so allowances survive failed transfers. Allowance of max uint256 is never decremented, while max minus one is finite and decremented. Self-transfer and self-transferFrom preserve balance. There is no payable path, receive, fallback, external call or bytes decoding anywhere in the token.
• Numerical Gap. The one invariant, total supply equals the sum of balances and never changes after construction, was confirmed by the shipped stateful invariant suite and a scratch conservation fuzz. No early-return or zero-input path skips accounting, since zero transfers go through the same _update.

Dependency check. The vendored OpenZeppelin files are byte-identical to upstream v5.4.0 at the pinned commit, and the archive hash matches dependencies.json.

Verification run

Not reached. Nothing in the assigned area was left unexamined. Launch-flow behaviour against the real PoolManager and factory was not executed, since the protected harness needs network artifacts that are not in this tree, but the token has no exemptions or transfer hooks for those flows to trip on.

The review is complete. The findings file holds zero defects and six coverage rows, and the only change in the tree is .imd-findings.json.

Outcome. The Pepes token has no reproducible economic, invariant, or flow-gap defect. It is a 17-line contract over OpenZeppelin ERC20 v5.4.0. All five vendored OpenZeppelin files match the pinned upstream commit byte for byte, so the token's behaviour is exactly the library's.

What I checked, in the assigned area:

• Economic Security. No fee, rebase, pause, blacklist, hook, or external call on any transfer path. A scratch simulation of the launch flow (factory to distributor to claimant, factory to a balance-delta settling pool manager at the maximum 90 percent seed, remainder to the requester, trader take and sell back) moved exact amounts every step. Supply overflow is impossible at 10^27. Sentinel address zero reverts on every path. The approve replace race is the standard ERC-20 property and the README already documents it.
• Invariant. Total supply equals the sum of balances and can never change after the constructor: the only mint is in the constructor, there is no burn, and both transfer paths reject the zero receiver. Allowance coupling held under fuzzing across the full range including the unlimited sentinel. Round trips return exactly the sent amount. The existing stateful invariant suite also passes.
• Flow Gap. The compiled ABI exposes only the standard ERC-20 surface plus a constant view, with no receive, fallback, or admin entry. Unknown selectors and ETH revert. The runtime contains no DELEGATECALL, CALLCODE, or SELFDESTRUCT. The constructor takes no arguments, so the manifest's constructorArgs must be an empty list and totalSupply must be the 28-digit value in the README.

Leads that did not become findings. The aderyn large-literal note resolves to exactly the stated supply. Tokens sent to the token's own address are unrecoverable, which the README states as intended. No launch.json exists yet, which is expected at this stage and not a defect.

Coverage rows. All three entry points are marked holds with one-line reasons, plus three invariant rows. No entry point was left unreached.

Review complete. The findings file is written and valid, the scratch directory is removed, and the only artifact left in the tree is .imd-findings.json.

Summary

Scope reviewed: src/Pepes.sol (17 lines) and its full dependency closure — OZ v5.4.0 ERC20, Context, IERC20, IERC20Metadata, draft-IERC6093 — under the Execution Trace, Periphery and First Principles guides, with the Senior Auditor's Mindset and the four validation gates applied.

Result: no defects. One informational note recorded.

What I verified (all holds):

• transfer, transferFrom, approve traced end-to-end through _transfer/_update/_spendAllowance/_approve: zero-address guards, balance/allowance checks, unchecked-arithmetic soundness (value ≤ fromBalance ≤ totalSupply), atomic reverts, exact delivery, infinite-allowance semantics, zero-value and self-transfer boundaries.
• Constructor: single _mint(msg.sender, 1e27), exactly one Transfer event, factory receives whole supply under CREATE and CREATE2, no immutables → byte-identical runtime across deployments.
• Supply cannot grow: _mint/_burn internal and constructor-only; ABI exposes only the three listed state-changing functions plus views.
• Disassembled the compiled runtime: no DELEGATECALL / CALLCODE / SELFDESTRUCT / CREATE / CALL / STATICCALL; metadata trailer is solc-version-only (bytecode_hash = "none" honoured).
• No receive/fallback; value sent to any selector reverts.
• Vendored OZ files are sha256-identical to upstream v5.4.0 at commit c64a1edb; no submodules.
• Static-analysis lead (aderyn large-numeric-literal) dismissed: compile-time 1e27, equals the manifest supply.
• Existing suite (28 tests incl. 512-run fuzz and 128×64 invariants) and forge fmt --check pass.

Not reached / open item: the Uniswap v4 protected harness (Token.protected.t.sol) cannot run here — it needs v4-core and the launch environment variables. Since the token has no _update override, fee, or exemptions, nothing in the token can tax the PoolManager's transfer/transferFrom path, but the live seed-and-swap check remains for the network harness.

Coverage record: 11 rows — all three listed entry points answered, plus constructor and seven invariant/periphery rows.

Review complete. No defects found in the assigned area, and the findings file holds an empty list with a seven-row coverage record.

What I checked

• Access control. The compiled ABI exposes exactly three state-changing functions: approve, transfer and transferFrom, all inherited unchanged from OpenZeppelin. There is no owner, role, initializer, proxy, receive or fallback. The runtime bytecode contains no CALL, DELEGATECALL, CALLCODE, SELFDESTRUCT or CREATE opcodes. Unknown selectors and ETH transfers revert.
• Trust gap. The constructor mints 10^27 units once to its caller, which is the factory under the launch flow. After deployment no actor holds any privilege beyond ordinary balance and allowance ownership. A probe confirmed the factory cannot pull a holder's balance without an allowance.
• Asymmetry. The approve and transferFrom pair mirror exactly under a 512-run fuzz, with infinite allowance left untouched. transfer and transferFrom share the same internal update path, so there is no branch divergence.
• Supply chain. All five vendored OpenZeppelin files are byte-identical to upstream v5.4.0. All vendored forge-std files differ from upstream v1.9.7 only by formatter line reflows, so the passing project suite is trustworthy.
• Static-analysis lead. The aderyn large-literal warning at line 12 evaluates to exactly 10^27, matching the brief.

Test results

Not reported. The inherent ERC-20 approve race is standard behaviour, deliberately retained by OpenZeppelin v5, and already documented in the README. It is noted in the coverage row for approve rather than filed as a defect.

Outside my budget. I did not run the network's protected launch harness, since it needs Uniswap v4 sources and launch environment variables that are not in this tree. Nothing in the token's code would interact with it differently from a plain ERC-20.

Added 13 boundary and fuzz tests, and expanded invariants to cover rejected calls, allowance rollback, supply conservation, and full-balance transfers.

forge build and forge test pass: 41 tests, including 32,768 invariant calls. Only test/ changed. No implementation defects found.

The findings file is in place and excluded from git by the harness (.git/info/exclude), the scratch test is gone, and no tracked file changed. Nothing further is needed — the review is complete.

The code (src/Pepes.sol, 16 lines) is an unmodified OpenZeppelin v5.4.0 ERC20 with a no-argument constructor that mints 1_000_000_000 * 10**18 to msg.sender. No owner, mint, burn, pause, hook, fee or upgrade path.

What I verified myself, not just took from the specialists:

• forge build clean; all 41 existing tests pass offline (unit, 4 fuzz × 512, 2 invariants with 256 runs × 128 calls, 0 reverts).
• Runtime bytecode scanned with the protected test's own opcode walk: no DELEGATECALL/CALLCODE/SELFDESTRUCT.
• All 6 vendored OZ files read in full — _update, _approve, _spendAllowance, and Context._msgSender are genuine upstream; no submodules or gitlinks in lib/.
• launch.json: supply 10^27 equals INITIAL_SUPPLY, decimals 18, constructorArgs [] matches; initialPrice recomputed independently as floor(sqrt(2500e18/1e27)·2^96) and matches exactly.
• Static leads: slither empty; aderyn's large-numeric-literal dismissed (compile-time constant, equals the manifest supply).

Specialist findings settled:

• audit_flow (info, approve race) — reproduced with a scratch Foundry test (spender ends with 150e18 after front-running a 100→50 reduction). Kept at info as a documented ERC-20 trust assumption, not a Pepes defect; no code change recommended. The other four areas reported nothing, so no merging was required beyond this.

Coverage: all 3 entry points holds, plus 5 invariant rows (supply/mint-once, exact launch flows, forbidden opcodes, dependency provenance, manifest consistency).

Two limitations stated plainly: the protected Token.protected.t.sol cannot run here (it needs v4-core and verifier env vars that are not in this tree) — it is the verifier's to execute; and pool.pairedCurrency could not be checked against .imd/reads/network.json, which is absent from this task's inputs. Neither is a code defect.
