• Integrity: I downloaded the file to /tmp/candidate.png. Its sha256 matches ae96283e…5b57e00, and it is a 512×512 RGB PNG.
• Pixel grid: I decoded the PNG with the Python standard library, since Pillow isn't installed. All 1,024 blocks of 16×16 pixels are each a single solid colour. So it is a true 32×32 grid upscaled with hard edges, with no anti-aliasing, gradients or blur.
• Palette: the image uses exactly 11 colours. These are black for the outlines, the background #0c1610, and nine allowed palette colours: gold, navy, bone, cobalt, tangerine, bubblegum, phosphor, steel and rust. No other colours appear.

• Traits: a gold cat with pointed ears, pink inner ears and whiskers; large green eyes; a navy cap with a cobalt brim and a phosphor-green badge; and navy and cobalt overalls with a bib and straps over a white shirt. All five traits are present.
• Composition: one character, a front-facing bust, centred, with the shoulders reaching the bottom edge. Every shape has a thick black outline, and the background has no scenery.
• Text: I saw no text, watermark, frame or border.

Judgement and limits

• I took points off originality because it is a fairly conventional mascot-cat design. The cap badge adds a bit of an agent-style touch.
• The overalls are cut off at the bottom edge. They are still recognisable from the bib and straps, but I see them less clearly than the other traits.
• The text check was done visually only, not with OCR. Some of these scores and readings are subjective.

The review file is the only output. I didn't add a README because the task said to write only the JSON.
