Build a new one-page website named "SqueekPulse" — a real-time 8-language (EN, ZH, VI, KO, RU, TR, ES, ID) Cyber-Glass On-Chain Telemetry Console & OBS Stream Overlay (?overlay=1) for Squeekchain on Sepolia. Connect live to https://api.squeekchain.com (/v1/core, /v1/settlements, /v1/economy/state, /v1/measurement/stats, and /v1/events) to display:

  1. Green 13x24 pixel-mosaic settlement block cards with live relative timestamps and Sepolia Etherscan tx links.
  2. SQK Mint tracker (NOW, 24H, 7D, 30D) with pixel-art hen and golden dotted-matrix eggs per round.
  3. SQK Supply vault with circulating vs 2.1B total cap on a dotted-matrix egg canvas.
  4. Hamster wheel distance bar chart (7D/30D), 48-slot UTC activity heatmap, and live on-chain event stream.

Work

  1. Posted33 minto the first attempt
  2. Build websiteAgent #59225 files changed

I wrote SqueekPulse and its dist/ export, but none of the code has been run and nothing is committed, so this is incomplete. No build, typecheck, tests, design probe or browser check ran, so I don't know yet whether the page loads without errors.

    Why nothing could run

Both tools failed on every attempt, right through to my final check:

    • Shell: Sandbox is required but failed to initialize: Failed to create bridge sockets after 5 attempts. Restart to retry.
    • Browser: Chromium crashed with Socket path too long: .../.cache/tmp/org.chromium.Chromium.*/SingletonSocket.

The temporary directory sits too deep in this workspace for Chromium's socket path, and the shell's socket failure is probably the same problem. The Playwright code tool might have got around the required sandbox, but I chose not to try that. This is a machine problem rather than a question for the requester, so I didn't write .imd-blocked.json.

    What's in the repository

    • Site: src/ and dist/ contain the console and the ?overlay=1 OBS overlay, in all 8 languages:
      • 13x24 green block mosaics with live timestamps and Etherscan links
      • SQK mint tracker with hen and golden eggs (NOW, 24H, 7D, 30D)
      • supply vault egg
      • wheel distance bars (7D, 30D)
      • 48-slot UTC heatmap
      • event stream with category filters, pause and older pages
    • Docs: README.md, DESIGN.md and VALIDATION.md. VALIDATION.md holds the six-domain review, and every check is marked as not run.

Changes from the brief and the usual setup

    • No Vite, React or TypeScript: npm couldn't run and a real lockfile can't be written by hand. The site is plain JavaScript modules with no dependencies, so package-lock.json lists only the package itself, and the build just copies src/ to dist/.
    • "Live" means polling: the API docs list no streaming endpoint. Most data refreshes every 15 seconds, ranged settlements every 60 seconds and wheel stats every 10 minutes.
    • Eggs per round only in NOW: the API has no per-round data for longer ranges, so 24H, 7D and 30D show one egg per hour, six hours and day.

    What was checked

I only checked what reading the files allows:

    • API fields: I read them through a summarising fetch tool, not raw responses, so a wrong field name is possible.
    • Translations and page ids: all 8 language tables have 117 keys, and every page id the code uses exists.
    • src/ and dist/: I wrote dist/ by hand, and only line counts are confirmed to match src/.
    • Desk review: reading the code turned up 7 defects, including an estimated overflow at 320 wide. They're fixed in the source but not confirmed in a browser.

    Known problems still open

    • Reading a single heatmap slot needs a pointer, so keyboard users only get the summary.
    • og:image is an SVG because I couldn't produce a PNG, and many link previews won't show it.
    • API schema versions aren't strictly checked, though the docs ask clients to reject unsupported ones.
    • Some stake, launch and speed events weren't in the samples, so their wording is a best guess; stake amounts may show "Unknown".
    • The translations haven't had a native-speaker review.
    • The overlay layout is the part most likely to need fixes, since I worked it out without ever seeing it.

    What to do next

On a machine with a working shell and browser, commit the working tree, then run these and fix what they find:

npm run check:dist && npm test && npm run typecheck
    npm run preview # walk it at 320, 390, 1440 and ?overlay=1
    node .imd/reads/skills/design-critic/scripts/taste.mjs --out test/scratch/taste

  3. Design criticAgent #527found 2 medium, 1 low

I couldn't measure the site in a browser, so this review comes from reading the source and checking the live API. Bash wouldn't start because the sandbox failed to create its sockets, the browser tool has no browser installed, and running Playwright code wasn't permitted. So the probe (taste.mjs) never ran, there are no screenshots, and nothing was tried in Chromium or WebKit. The counts below are estimates from the CSS and code.

    Requirements

    • "one-page website named SqueekPulse": met (src/index.html:6,25)
    • "8-language (EN, ZH, VI, KO, RU, TR, ES, ID)": met (src/assets/i18n.js:5-12, all keys in all 8 languages)
    • "Cyber-Glass": met (.panel frosted-glass blur, styles.css:245)
    • "OBS Stream Overlay (?overlay=1)": met (index.html:16, styles.css:445-500, panel picker and link copy in #kit)
    • "Sepolia": met (Etherscan links go to sepolia.etherscan.io, logic.js:61)
    • "Connect live to api.squeekchain.com": met. /v1/core, /v1/settlements, /v1/economy/state and /v1/events are polled every 15 s; /v1/measurement/stats every 10 min (the docs say not to poll it often) (app.js:199-237). I checked the field names against the live API and they match.
    • "Green 13x24 pixel-mosaic settlement block cards": met (logic.js:5-6, draw.js:39)
    • "live relative timestamps": met (app.js:965, updates every second)
    • "Sepolia Etherscan tx links": met (app.js:334)
    • "SQK Mint tracker (NOW, 24H, 7D, 30D)": met (index.html:103-108)
    • "pixel-art hen": met (draw.js:51)
    • "golden dotted-matrix eggs per round": met for NOW. For 24H/7D/30D each egg is a time slice (1 h, 6 h, 1 day), because the API only returns those time slices for a range. The help text says so.
    • "SQK Supply vault with circulating vs 2.1B total cap": met. The cap comes live from the API (2100000000000000000000000000 base units, i.e. 2.1B SQK) (app.js:530).
    • "dotted-matrix egg canvas": met (draw.js:124)
    • "Hamster wheel distance bar chart (7D/30D)": met (app.js:597)
    • "48-slot UTC activity heatmap": met (draw.js:147)
    • "live on-chain event stream": met. It polls /v1/events with category filters, pause and "load older" (app.js:720-870).
    • Hosting and a live URL: after review.

The idea: a live Squeekchain console you can drop straight into a stream, carried by one device: gold dot-matrix eggs on dark green glass. The mosaics, hen, eggs and heatmap all use that one pixel/dot language, so there's nothing to cut.

    Findings (3, written to .imd-findings.json)

    1. Medium, bug: the share card won't show on most sites. src/index.html:12 uses an SVG og:image, which X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Slack and Discord won't display. Fix: export it as a 1200×630 PNG and point og:image at that.
    2. Medium, accessibility: heatmap values need a mouse or a precise tap. You can only read a heatmap slot by pointing at a 4–6px cell (index.html:187, draw.js:155). There's no keyboard path and no table. Fix: reuse the mint panel's "Show values" table for the heatmap's half-hour slots.
    3. Low, bug: the language menu cuts off "Bahasa Indonesia" on phones. The max-width: 7.5rem at styles.css:154 clips it. Fix: delete that line.

Nothing reached high. I also couldn't check the overlay at 1920×1080, the WebKit rendering, or colo

    • mediumbug: the share card is an SVG, which X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Slack and Discord do not render, so a posted overlay link unfurls without an imagesrc/index.html:12

Now: og:image points at ./assets/og-image.svg, and twitter:card is summary_large_image. The major unfurlers accept only raster og:image (PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP) and drop an SVG, so the large card has no image.

Change to: export the existing src/assets/og-image.svg once as a 1200x630 PNG at src/assets/og-image.png, keep the SVG file, and change line 12 to . Add and after it. The relative path is fine until hosting.

Why: the bar asks for an og:image 'so the link unfurls when someone posts it'. An OBS overlay link is made to be pasted into Discord and X by streamers.

      Any width.

      Read the page head: og:image = ./assets/og-image.svg (src/index.html:12) and twitter:card = summary_large_image (line 13).

X's card validator and Facebook's sharing debugger reject image/svg+xml for og:image, and Slack and Discord unfurls show no image for an SVG.

Expected: a PNG or JPEG card.

      Actual: SVG only.

The probe's share check passes because it tests only that the tag exists.

    • mediumaccessibility: heatmap slot values are reachable only by pointing at 4 to 6px canvas cells, with no keyboard path and no tablesrc/index.html:187

Now: the 48-slot UTC heatmap is one canvas. Its aria-label (heatAria) gives only the day count and the peak time, and a single slot's work shows in #heat-read only on pointermove or pointerdown (app.js onHeatPointer). Each cell is (width - 48) / 48 px wide, which is about 5.8px at 390 and 4.3px at 320, and 7px tall on 30D. The mint egg canvas has a 'Show values' table (index.html:123-136), but the heatmap has none.

Change to: reuse the mint panel's own component. Under #heat-read, add a with . Inside, put a .table-wrap table of the half-hour slots that have data, with columns Day, UTC slot and Work (rows filled in renderWheel from state.heatRows, skipping cells where work is null). No new styles are needed.

Why: the brief's 48-slot UTC activity heatmap is a data feature. Keyboard and screen-reader users, and touch users on a phone, cannot read any slot. The bar asks that controls and targets be at least 24px.

At 390 wide, open the page and Tab through the wheel panel: focus never reaches the heatmap, and #heat-read shows only 'peak' text.

      At 320 the canvas is about 256px wide (320 minus 2x16px main padding minus 2x16px panel padding), so cellW = (256 - 48) / 48 = 4.3px (draw.js:155).

      On 30D, cellH = 7px (draw.js:151).

A tap must land inside a 4.3x7px cell to read it.

Expected: every slot value reachable without a pointer, as with the mint table.

      Actual: pointer only.

    • lowbug: the language select clips 'Bahasa Indonesia' and 'Tiếng Việt' at phone widthssrc/assets/styles.css:154

Now: .lang select is capped at 7.5rem (120px) below 48rem, with 8px inline padding and the native arrow. 'Bahasa Indonesia' at 16px system-ui is about 125px of text, so the closed select shows a cut-off name for Indonesian visitors, one of the eight languages the brief requires.

Change to: delete the max-width: 7.5rem line. The topbar column is already auto, so the select grows to its content (about 150px) and the brand column (minmax(0, 1fr)) gives up the space. At 320 that still leaves about 130px for the 28px logo and the 20px 'SqueekPulse' title.

Why: the brief names ID among the eight languages, and the bar says critical text (a name) is never clipped.

At 390 (and 320) wide, choose 'Bahasa Indonesia' in the language select (or open ?lang=id).

The closed select is 120px wide (styles.css:154).

Subtracting padding-inline 2x8px and about 20px for the arrow leaves about 84px for text, against roughly 125px for 'Bahasa Indonesia' at 16px.

      Expected: the full language name.

Actual: the name is cut at about 'Bahasa Ind'.

These are estimates from the CSS.

The probe did not run, so no screenshot was taken.
