I've written the merge of all 20 results to
artifacts/goal/merges/01/result.md(10.4 KB, under the 64,000-byte limit). I did not run any simulations myself; every figure is the item's own measurement. The stacked file has not been built or tested.Recommended stack, one file per spread:
Spread File Gain per run on unseen runs (± SE) Speed 1 q1-ahead +1.64 ± 0.22 faster than base 2 base — — 3 q3-ahead +0.136 ± 0.041 faster than base 4 base — — - Expected effect is too small to reach 1st. Each spread is about a quarter of runs, so the stack should add roughly 0.44 to the overall mean edge. The gap from 107.17 to 109.59 is 2.42. That 0.44 also assumes gains measured against the 98.47 base carry over to the 107.17 file.
- Spread 1 has five candidates, but they can't be added together. q1-bids (+0.79), q1-life (+0.44), q1-demand (+0.35) and q1-keep (+0.31) mostly work the same way, by keeping the front order. Only one file can go in per spread.
- Three larger gains are excluded because they are slower than the base: q3-demand (+1.86, about 14% slower), q2-bids and q3-bids. q2-demand measured +0.41 but missed the speed check by about 1%, so it returned the base. The demand-model changes may already be in the 107.17 file, since q3-demand says it copied that file's mechanism.
Where results disagree:
- Keeping a front order when the size rule shrinks gains at spread 1 in four separate items. It loses or does nothing at spreads 2, 3 and 4 (q2-life, q2-ahead, q3-keep, q4-keep). q3-bids found a small, not significant gain at spread 3.
- Splitting an order into slices that queue one behind another gained at spread 3 (q3-ahead). At spread 2 the item that tried it (q2-keep) returned the base.
- Larger sizes, quoting from behind the rival, and waiting for the rival's lot to run out lost or showed no significant gain in every item that tried them. The one exception is q1-ahead's larger size cap, which still sizes by how far the price sits below the tick.
Anomalies:
- q3-keep's scorer check: it got 114.49 instead of the author's 98.47. It returned the base, so this changes nothing.
- Missing scorer checks: q1-life and q3-demand did not run it.
- q4-lead's file: it says it is the base unchanged, but its hash differs by one trailing newline.
Sources: none of the 20 result files contains a URL. I couldn't tell which claims rested on the flagged sources, so the merge credits each claim to the item's own measurement and treats the items' explanations of why things work as unverified.
All 20 results were present, readable and not blocked.

I found no high or critical problems. Two smaller findings are in
.imd-findings.json.What holds up:
- Arithmetic: every retail plus arbitrage pair in the table adds up to the stated mean, within rounding. The combined gain of 0.4875649 is (1.6416 + 0 + 0.1361 + 0.17256) / 4, and it does fall short of the 2.42 gap (109.59 − 107.17). The spread-1 holdout difference, 43.4265 − 41.7849 = 1.6416, matches the table. The "0.74% slower" for q4-demand and "approximately 0.44" for the earlier stack (merge 01) are also correct.
- Base file: I downloaded the public base. Its code hashes to
dcf68e0c…, as the report says. The code has the 3,000-share cap and the rule that it stays at the rival's tick only while orders placed ahead there keep 2 or more shares. It can cancel a whole front order when the size target shrinks. Its stored scorer result is 98.4694596619638, the same as the report's reference check. - Choices: each selected file is faster than its base, fails no simulation and leaves the other spreads identical on the runs tested. Higher gains that failed the speed condition (q3-demand, q4-demand) are left out, with the reason given. The report says plainly that no combined file was tested and that the gain does not close the gap.
Findings:
- Medium – the spread-1 and spread-3 files can't be located. Spread 4 gets a real path (
artifacts/goal/items/q4-ahead/result.json). Spread 1, the biggest gain, and spread 3 get only a code hash and a path that existed only on the writer's machine. Neither hash resolves on api.imd.fun (both return 404), so the operator has nowhere to fetch those two files from for stacking. - Low – the shortfall isn't put in context. The report says 0.49 is below 2.42, but not that about 1.93 is still missing. It doesn't explain why the best spread gains 1.64 a run when the brief measured 47.86 a run for winning first place at the rival's price. Its next steps aren't ranked by how much of the gap each could close.
I couldn't check the figures from the two merge files the report rests on, because only the report was provided.

The deliverable's purpose is to name the file to stack for each spread. For spread 4 it names a concrete artifact path ("Spread 4: select
artifacts/goal/items/q4-ahead/result.json"). For spread 1, its largest gain (1.6416 of the 0.4876 combined), and for spread 3, it gives only a strategy SHA-256 and a reader-local path, and states that M1 "does not preserve an original delivery pathname, exact retention thresholds, or the complete strategy. Those details cannot be specified from these inputs." So the operator gets an identifier for these two files but no place to fetch them from. The report says this openly, but it does not name the repository item paths, as it does for q4.
That inconsistency is what keeps it from being directly usable for stacking.
Shortfall against the goal is stated but not tied to the brief's 47.86 queue-priority measurement
The goal is to reach 1st (a 2.42 gap) by taking first place in the queue at the rival's price, which the brief measured as worth 47.86 a run at every spread. The report correctly computes the combined gain, (1.6416+0+0.1361+0.17256)/4 = 0.48756, and says it is below 2.42. It never says how far short that is (about 1.93 overall, or about 7.7 a run per spread on average), or why the selected files capture under 4% of the measured 47.86 opportunity.
Its next steps are lists of item proposals and are not ranked by how much of the gap each could close. A reader cannot tell from the report whether the goal is still reachable with this approach.
Report 'Combined gain' paragraph: 0.4875648999387381175 against the 2.42 gap.
Brief: first place at the rival's price while quoting there = +47.86 a run at every spread.
Expected: the remaining shortfall (2.42 − 0.488 ≈ 1.93) and a statement of why realised gains (best spread: 1.64) fall so far below 47.86.
Actual: only the statement 'remains below the 2.42 gap'.
